Multiplayer? How would that even work? Punch Out isn't even a traditional boxing game. Everyone has a preset list of moves, like a puzzle game.I don't see this working out so well.AlexSays
preset moves?! in a fighting game?!?! MADNESS

I trust that Next Level Games will make the Multiplayer great. (Even though if I get this game I'm mainly playing Single Player because I don't have a router to play Wii games online yet.)
I've noticed this as well, and the box art doesn't have the Wifi logo either. Misleading title, TC.Where does it say online?

[QUOTE="metroidfood"]I've noticed this as well, and the box art doesn't have the Wifi logo either. Misleading title, TC. Not to mention the 13 "playable" characters are opponents. The multiplayer is just Little Mac vs himself according to the article.Where does it say online?

My bad... I'll edit the OP... online has not been confirmed yet though it is probable as the same division who is making this game made mario strikers charged.Where does it say online?

Does everything need to look light Fight night to be considered good?Jerell_rastFight Night isn't like Punch Out. It's perfectly understandable if you haven't followed the series. Those of us that know these things know what Punch Out is and how multiplayer is a step away from what the series is all about.
I think what he means is that Lil Mac only has jabs, punches, dodging, and uppercuts and the way you decide which move to use is based on patterns you notice in the character (such as Mike Tyson's eye twitching). It wouldn't work well as a multiplayer game unless they make multiplayer like Wii Sports boxing where it isn't limited like with other Punch Out games.nintendoman562Righto! If I had something to give I'd give it to you.
When was the last time any of you guys played Punchout? Seriously I don't think we need a new Punchout unless they totally revamp the gameplay.W1NGMAN-From what I've seen nobody here as played Punch Out. lol We have one person coming from left field with a Fight Night reference and others thinking multiplayer is a good thing. Luckily there's one other user that recognizes multiplayer would weird and awkward like two cats trying to scratch each other.
80-90% of Nintendo's "hardcore" games are AA-AAA... I don't think there's much reason to worry.Let's just hope it doesn't turn out like Facebreaker and Ready 2 Rumble Revolution...=P

13 playable characters? lmao thats so sad for a current gen system.

What does the amountof playable characters have do with what gen a console came out in:?I would be satisfied with one playable character given that's the premise of the series.
Have you ever playerd a Punchout game before? My guess is that your a noob and too young.
Desperate haters are desperate to hate.

multiplayer ? :|
i wish they would implement something like an editor for all the enemys after you beat that game or play as one of them with there own moves :o
it does'nt have online :| witch sucked anyways for the wii
kemar7856
can you explain me the game mechanics in punch out and how online would make it better ?
Yes because if there's one thing Nintendo sucks at... it's multiplayer  You got that right, literally. Nintendo couldn't create a working multiplayer game using the service for the Wii if their very existence depended upon it... or they just refuse to.[QUOTE="AlexSays"]Multiplayer? Well, that's true...=P I've just been deprived a hardcore Nintendo game I was interested in for a while...and after seeing "Let's Tap" being made by Yuji Naka, I sorta lost hope. =P Forgot this was being made BY Nintendo, actually...O_o[QUOTE="enix165"]
