@Pedro: yes halo first ever halo that was not 60 bucks but the first to have micro transactions that makes you feel you need to grind for hours just to unlock one item if you don't buy the content. Third party started charging 70 bucks to. But because I'm willing to spend more on quality titles like hzd2 I'm a Sony chill? Once Sony makes game free and make it have micro transactions to I'm done gaming pretty much. My son loves fortnite and I hate it. I have spent hundreds and I mean hundreds just to look different. Yet the games I want you can unlock everything in the game but it's 60 or 70 bucks. Another reason I'm not happy with third party lately. Say asscreed 60 bucks then grind and grind to get items you can just buy in the shop. But the grinding is so long you lose interest. So you buy it. I don't mind spending extra for dlc to get more of a game I like. But once they make grind like choir just to trap you I'm done.
Games like ghost,hzd2,gow,Spiderman,uncharted, ratchet and clank you pay 60 or 70 with no hidden fees or painfully grinding.
Please take the time to articulate your ideas man. I should not be trying so hard to decipher what you are communicating. Halo Infinite the single player game and Halo Infinite the multiplayer are two different games. One is a free to play game and the other is a paid game. Neither is relevant to the discussion because one is $60 and the other is free to play. This makes your comparison just silly and reaching.
Sony is working on 10 live service games over the next 4 years. This is not a matter of once Sony makes live service games as if it is a pipedream or an unlikely scenario. They are making.
You spending hundreds to look different in Fortnite is a you problem and has absolutely nothing to do with the up charge of $10 for the PS5 version of the identical $60 game on the PS4.
I have not purchased anything beyond the entrance price for any Assassin's Creed game. If you want to buckle to pay more, that is your choice. Your argument was that Sony was the exception to having long games which is false. Now you are moving the goalpost to something else.
so your saying you have not seen anyone in here complaining how much more they need to grind in these games? gamers complain so much that game prices stayed the same while everything else has gone up in price around us. heck I paid 60 for back to the future nes game and was mad so mad back in the day.
while wages has gone up ect. why you think these company's are adding all this micro transations to there game? because 60 is not cutting it any more. cost to much to produce.
why you think indie games don't make huge graphically high production cost games. because 60 is not enough to warrant the cost if it doesn't sell enough.
what is live service games? is it subscription psnow game or is it a live tv show you get to control what person does like heavy rain?
sony has longer games to warrant that 60 or 70 price tag. they are finished games day one.
not sea of thieves or no man sky type games were it takes a few months to a year before it feels like a finished game. halo is like this as well. if I was a xbox player (will be soon enough) I would wait to play these games like sea of thieves until months later when they add more content and feel finished. that was everyone complaint last gen with service games.
I want smaller titles on psnow and leave the high production cost games like ghost, hzd2 and the rest alone to purchase as long there are no micro transitions or extra cost unless its dlc.
sorry but sony games are top shelf games that feel finished day one that score 9 and wins awards year after year. are they not? ghost 9, hzd 9, gow 9, last of us 1 and 2 9, returnal 9, ratchet and clank 9. should I go on?
fact is xbox will be great but its not here yet. they still fall back on gears, halo, forza.
xbox has produced zero new games to get hyped for sequels. i hope fable feels finished day one and not screw it up but I know it going to be like sea of thieves.
