Quality of Current Console Games - PS3 Leads

Often you will hear from gamers from one console group or the other "Your system has no quality games". In the last 6 months this has been true for owners of PS3, we hear it all the time. SPG has set out to investigate these claims.

Of all current consoles the PS3 has the highest percentage of games rated over 80%.
Of all current consoles the X360 has the lowest percentage of games rated under 50%.
The Wii has the lowest percentage of games over 80% and the most under 50% of any console.
The PSP has the highest percentage of games over 80% and the lowest percentage under 50%.

14 of the 44 released PS3 games have better rating than 80%. That is 31% of the games.

By that logic if a system only had one game and it was AAA that would be the best system...

yea you fail.

In other words Quality titles will mainly be system sellers and thats good for the ps3. Furthermore Developers will have more faith in ps3 and will produce more titles to expand the library.

Honestly i think the upcoming ps3 exclusives are going to be mainly AAAs well lets wait and see how it will go with Heavenly sword, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Lair since they are the closest to come out.

I prefer the ps3 over the 360...

but 52 AA games is better than 14 AA games....if you are going by today

so the statistics are a bit skewed...although 360 has way more games out...it just shows ps3 has a lot of upside too it... 

Of those 14 PS3 games that scored higher than 80, 5 of them were multiplats that scored higher on 360. (Oblivion, COD3, FNR3, College Hoops 2K7, Nba 2K7)

because the ps3 has soooo many AAAs.... its terrible when OP's don't even try to defend their own threads because they're so flawed. sorry man but....
