quality of ps3 exclusives

i agree to some extent. The 360 has great exclusives, but imo they just don't match ps3 exclusives. Quite a few of the 360 games are on PC as well, so why play it on 360.

I do not agree TC.

For me, personally, the PS3 exclusives have been lacking. I rented UC2 to see what the fuss was about, meh, short game and I didn't want to go back for more and didn't think the MP was good. Killzone series I just can't stand, it looks awful on my HDTV (so does Halo to be fair though) and the gun play is clunky at best. Nothing has stood out as really good fun except maybe Warhawk.

Not saying the 360 exclusives are amazing either but at least I finished playing through Gears and at the time of release it was awesome. The real quality exclusives have all been on PC this gen for moi.

Killzone 3 looks great :o And Uncharted 2 is epic :o But I agree the PC has had many quality exclusives.gamebreakerz__

You probably have crappy TV. I got 1080p, 50" 600hz plasma and Killzone 3 looks stunning on it. Also, Killzone 3 is not subHD afaik, its 720p, which is marketed as HD ready by TV manufacturers.

Also - its not only about Uncharted 2 and Killzones, there are other gems on PS3 like MGS4, Valkyria Chronicles, Demons Souls, Little Big Planet 2, inFamous, etc. Great selection of exclusives that are on the very top of their genres (even Witcher 2 developers admitted they loved Demons Souls). Its a matter of fact that PS3s exclusives library is several levels above 360 exclusives library. But guess what - haters gonna hate. :roll:

Yeah, the Sony produced games are some of the best games this gen in terms of gameplay and quality. Nintendo's would be next, even if they aren't games I want to play. MS has been trailing in this department for quite some time. There's really no reason they wouldn't be able to assemble some talented devs if they wanted to, but they don't want to.

That all comes down to personal preference. I've played Gears 1-3, Halo 3 and the others and I prefer Resistance (1st one) and KZ2 over them.

I disagree TC, I find PS3 exclusives very lacking and most are way overrated. Dont get me wrong though, I loved both Uncharted games as well as the Resistance games but those are the only 2 series exclusive to the PS3 that I really enjoyed. I am playing through Heavy Rain and so far it is a good game but nothing "amazing" to me. I also found KZ to be just subpar generic games at best. InFamous was just ok, but I found it too boring to finish. I have enjoyed games like Gears, Crackdown, Alan Wake, Deadly Premonition and even the Scene It games more than most of the "quality" PS3 exclusives.

I would pay for demon souls rather than get the whole xbox library for free. Yes, demon souls is better than the whole xbox library combined.

Actually there was some quality potential in xbox360's exclusive library but MS doesn't seem to be trying anymore since they see they can ride off of the sales of multiplats.

Let the sales talk my friend. Halo franchise on the Xbox 360 alone has outsold all those games combined. Throw in Gears and it's just embarrassing. The PS3 exclusives are so "awesome" but no one buys them. Hmmmm......
