It looks like a stellar product regardless of Uncharted 4, the lengths they're going to with this game and the obvious amount of work is over the top. The TV show aspects look top notch and they got some real and i'd imagine pretty expensive talent, the concept is great and the gameplay looks very polished. Like SolidTy said it looks like a 2016 interpretation of Max Payne with much more and the twist with time breaking down thrown in, it's like bullet time taken to the tenth degree.
I for one am very excited for this game, it looks great.
Love the warping effects and warp/glass shard effects.
Just nitpicking but the animation on 2:38 (enemy on the right) looks weird.. like he's squeezing a poop out while standing. I'm guessing that was meant as animation noise from the the enemies huge backpack device. :P
The transition from cutscene to gameplay was pretty nice.
Anyway, is it me or it looks "soft"? Sub 1080p?
Mostly getting a Max Payne feeling, which is a GOOD THING for me! As for it being better than UC4 in graphics? I don't know... I think UC4 is a bit better.
More like Quantum Boring.... The dark dull theme/atmosphere....is depressing with funny animations like he's about to take a dump, the time manipulation looks more annoying then anything else, IMO.
UC4 got my blood pumping, this is just eh, whatever. I think the time warping mechanics look too easy to spam, hopefully that's not the case because the game just looks super easy, pop up anti bullet shields everywhere and go to town.
As far as visuals go, I don't think it's even in the same state as UC if that's the direct comparison.
Also not a fan of the MC.

Exactly what i thought when demo finished.
It looks great but nothing jaw dropping like UC4s demo was.
It would be better as a open world game in my opinion. The game being linear just makes me think it would be too easy using your time powers to fight through the levels.
I'm concerned: the game clearly underwent some drastic changes from its actual gameplay premiere and my greatest worry is that the narrative premise will overshadow or outright sink its game elements. Beside the artistic effects (which are very impressive, IMO), the game seems to me a stiff duck-and-cover TPS. Granted, Remedy has a good team of writers and some excellent acting talent signed on but it's not doing much for me at the moment. MS' creative studios also have a bad track record with Halo live-action stuff (IMO) and that provides little reassurance.

I'm guessing new enemy types later that'd mostly negate the dude's powers.
at others: yeah.. instead of more physics like UC, this one seem to be spending the gpu resources more on the warping effects.

lol someone else noticed xD
Yes it looks too obtrusive but maybe they'll change this.

I'd expect it's a lot more complex than that, you have to remember this is a presentation, not exactly what the game is going to be like in regular play. Also Remedy is known for creating difficult games, or at least games you can make very difficult, so I wouldn't chalk this game up as being easy or simple.
Is the framerate bothering anyone else? The quick camera pans look real rough.
I LOVE sci-fi so the game itself looks cool. Uncharted is much more visually pleasing however.
Teh linear cinematic bullet time, everything that Lems hate in Sony games they just happen to love in MS games

No, it looks pretty smooth to me, also I wouldn't get too crazy with judging it visually, this source is crazy washed out for some reason, this is what it should look like in terms of color, effects, etc.

Do you know how many great games are linear? Think I'll go off to the side and take a nap in pacman, then maybe i'll go play a round of tennis in half life.

MS wouldn't label a "presentation" as "world gameplay premiere" if they didn't intend for it to be an indicator of the final product. Granted, it's unwise to issue final judgment on a vertical slice of gameplay but the vibes I'm getting leave me more concerned than anticipatory.
I can not wait for this game to release. It is easily one of the games I am most looking forward to.
@ReadingRainbow4: Predictable cow forever bashing MS is predictable cow forever bashing MS.
C'mon Salt, I know you're brighter than this.
Gameplay looks more fun than Uncharted 4. I love Max Payne 1 and 2 and this feels like evolution of that system; no dedicated cover mechanics, fast paced gameplay and slow motion.

when do you think it will come to PC ?
@soulitane: I bet there is a twist to this, like you have to collect something to regenerate energy or kill somebody without using these abilities to regenerate your powers.
However, it wouldn't surprise me if they would throw a lot of enemies every time you have a battle to compensate the fact you're so powerful. Besides, some enemies can manipulate time as well. Plus there are segments which freeze everything else around you so there's hoping some battles will actually resemble tactical puzzles and there will be time-associated mindfucks just like in Braid. I also do hope there will be some actual puzzles in which we can utilize time bending abilities.

Don't know. I hope, it comes to PC at some point because Remedy games play better with Mouse Keyboard IMO (AW had lock on issues on launch but were quickly patched). If it doesn't come out on PC then I'll play it on Xbox One when I'll get Xbox and PS4, once there are enough games on both Consoles. But I'd love to play this on PC instead on higher settings and 60fps. The game already looks excellent on Xbox.

Yeah, hopefully. I feel they do just want to show the stuff off and since there's limited time they've given themselves unlimited powers.
Puzzles would be good but Remedy haven't really done puzzles in their games before. Honestly though, if they do, do puzzles, they'll probably be Uncharted kinds of puzzles where they're not really challenging but break up the action a bit.
I hope that the gameplay was to show off the powers and that you can't spam them that heavily in the actual game. The slow time power things seemed to stop gameplay for far too long and make it way too easy to take down enemies.
That's a likely scenario. "Speeding up" the gameplay just so that the audience can get a feel for the abilities of the main character more quickly.
Did they change the look of the main character or do you get to play as multiple people? And I hope there is some kind of restriction on the time mechanic, otherwise this will get boring real quick.
Do people buy video games because a celebrity is in it? What a waste of money that could go to making the game better.
The mechanic is okay, not too different than beyond two souls or slow motion from max payne. Makes the player seem OP.
Loving how are cows damage controlling over it by calling it easy in the same sentence as uncharted.
Hope it will come to PC, Remedy haven't made a bad game yet and they are definitely does gameplay better than Naughty Duds.
Looks way better than Uncharted - not graphically, but game play looks much, much better. I'm hoping this comes to PC. I couldn't care less if Uncharted came to pc.
Gameplay has a lot of potential so long as
A: there is some type of meter or cool down on those abilities, if you can just use them the way he was using them liberally it'll be dull
B: Remedy discovers what variation means. Max Payne 1 and 2 made the most out of being relatively repetitive shooters with excellent action, Alan Wake however was okay in the mechanics department and way too repetitive for those mechanics to carry an entire game.
Otherwise mixed feelings on the presentation. On one hand, ugh yay cinematics, put me into a coma. On the other hand I always liked those ghetto TV shows in Remedy's games they had a sense of style to them, and Sam Lake hired Carcetti, and The Wire is god, so bonus points there I guess.
