I guess the trailer shown was in-game. Remedy is doing some ground breaking and innovative things with this new exclusive IP for the Xbox One.

I highly doubt the gameplay is gonna have those visuals.Â
Though Sam Lake makes up for all this video
EDIT: Oh, he said it was all in game in real time. Big words same, let's see if it holds up

So innovative that no gameplay can be seen.
watch the video. Â the developer on stage says the trailer is from in game footage.

so cut scenes.

But with 0 gameplay how are we to know?Â
Developers play it fast and loose with terms like in game and in engine these days. I'll believe when I see.Â
Though it's Remedy so it's instant win
I kept hoping Sam Lake would just look into the camera and make this face:Â
That would have been more entertaining than what I just watched.Â
did anyone even watch the video. Â listen to what they're doing with this game. Â innovation, it sounds awesome.

Hearing a dev hype their own game with no gameplay to show is not gonna win me over. It all sounds wonderful but devs overhype what they're doing to sell you on the game and the gameplay is usually of lesser quality

Is it just me or is the original Max Payne based off Sam Lake?
seanmcloughlin
It actually is, 100% fact
That's pretty awesome :P
They literally took pictures of his face and stuck them onto Max's model in Max Payne 1. He also portrays Max in the graphic novels in that game.Is it just me or is the original Max Payne based off Sam Lake?

If I were to ever lead a development team I'd make sure to put my face on the main character :P

Nearly every face in the game was mapped from friends and family of Remedy as well as Remedy themselves.I hate to admit it because Alan Wake was such a letdown but that sounds incredibly ambitious and unique - you can't say that for a lot of the stuff shown at E3 this year. Shame its an exclusive but I'll be interested to see how it turns out. biggest_loserI'm really hoping that it comes to the PC.
It's a cutscene, not gameplay. All I know about what the game plays like is what little Sam Lake is willing to share at this point, which is basically that it's a third person shooter with a cover mechanic, two+ playable characters, you'll have some sort of time manipulation powers and what you do in the game will influence the story of this TV show tied to it. I'm sure the game will be pretty good. Shame I won't get to play it. I like Remedy.watch the video. Â the developer on stage says the trailer is from in game footage.

*in game engine* =/= gameplay.watch the video. Â the developer on stage says the trailer is from in game footage.

There was no gameplay shown or at least i didnt notice it..Â
However I'm quite interested in this game so i'm hoping more info / vids will be released in the coming weeks..
