No more blocky shadows, no more 720p, no more jaggies.

I look forward to playing this game. It's cool of M$ to include it at no extra cost with a Xbox One version preorder. Saves me the cost of my usual double-dip.

I was hoping there would be a setting to increase the draw distance. You see nothing past 4 feet in the videos I've seen.
Thank God for Shadow Resolution, because it seems pretty poor on X1. I hope Draw Distance is better though because there is no option for that here, so if it have low Draw Distance or LOD like latest X1 videos, then I'll be disappointed. But then again may be that will be part of Object Detail and Shadow Resolution.
Still no way to disable v-sync, and no exclusive fullscreen which means no Crossfire, Gsync or Freesync support...
So AA is either on or off, with no indication of what type is being used, nor an adjustable scale from 2X and up. And while a frame cap of 30 can be disabled, I wonder still if this is a true V-sync control to allow for excess of 60 fps. Still wishing it could be played with overlay to see the frame count, since I only have a mid range card (R9 380) and it's good to gauge my performance from which to tweak the game settings.
Windows Store FTL :(

Yeah AA on or off is a pretty weak option.
At least let us know which kind of AA is being used... even if it's FXAA or something.
Seems good, I'll be playing the PC version one day. But day one I'll be playing the Xbone version :)
whats the logic there?
please explain.

I'm still using Windows 7 :)
And by the time I play it on PC I expect to play it at max settings with 60 fps.

I have windows 10 on my laptop, but for my gaming PC I'm not about to switch just yet.
Using Win 7 is so convenient that one game can't make me switch yet.
I'm sure my GTX970 can run this game at better settings than my Xbone, but I don't mind playing it on Xbone :)
Nothing special just like the settings in Dark Souls 3. Probably using FXAA...
Since its a UWP you won't be able to inject any sort of AA.
i know which is dumb af. Dark Souls 3 with sweetfx, tho will look beautiful.
Cool, just bought a second 970 and another motherboard to prepare for games like this.
Too bad it won't support SLI.
Official support? Maybe not, but there are always methods to get it to work.
Nope. You need access to the EXE which UWP doesn't allow.

WTF?? Ok, I officially hate UWP
Lack of AF option makes me sad.
Hopefully there'll be a display driver profile for the game and I can force AF that way. (there is for Gears of War Ultimate PC, at least on nVidia's side, and forcing AF works that way)
@dynamitecop: No crossfire support? What are you talking about?
The game has no exclusive fullscreen which = no Crossfire support.

Ahhh Ok, so just doing some reading on this, is it a problem just with the particular engine? I seem to remember being able to crossfire games in windowed modes before.

That's only Mantle games, and there's only like 8 of them.
