I don't have a lot of confidence in Recore as the Armature Studio devs are a sketchy port house (also did Batman Blackgate which was no good), not to mention we have seen nothing on the game, but I hope for the best. Comcept backing it does give me a little bit more confidence, but not a lot. I think we have a possible The Order situation here in terms of quality, but it's also possible it will be a Lost Planet-eque level as well. Either way, nothing to get too excited about. To be clear, as a gamer and Xbone owner, I want Recore too succeed, but I don't believe it deserves the acknowledgement that QB and Scalebound deserve which have much more capable, prestigious, and time tested developers (Remedy and Kamiya/Platinum). Based on what we've seen (very little), I don't believe Recore will make 2016 either.
I want Quantum Break, but I am worried that Remedy won't make their release date in 2016 (I bought the 360 in 2005 for Alan Wake and that game released five years later). Quantum has already been delayed. It will be a fun game, although I'm worried about it's 2016 release date as well.
Scalebound will probably make it's 2016 release date, I believe. Kamiya is pretty timely, however making a new type of game for him could cause hiccups in the release date as this is his first JRPG. Scalebound I fear wont be a commercial success, but I will enjoy it as JRPG from one of my favorite developers from the late 1990's onward, Kamiya. I'm not sure how the JRPG will be received by western and Xbone gamers (not well I assume, which is the Kamiya Kurse). Poor reception/sales for Scalebound diminishes the chance for sequel. Although I don't believe it will blow western gamers away or sell well; I think the game might help the Xbone in Japan though.
tl;dr:
I believe 1/3 of these games will make 2016 (Scalebound, although it's his first JRPG).
I believe 2/3 of these games will be delayed to 2017 or beyond (QB and Recore).
I want all to be good, but I believe only two of these games (QB and Scalebound) are going to be purchase worthy for my collection.
