Question about The Conduit... Does this rip off of Mass Effect?

Did this game rip off of Mass Effect real bad? Mass Effect has a thing in it called The Conduit... I can't belive their game devolpers would do that... What is The Conduit in The Conduit? Its probably going to be a Small teleporter that sends you right into a big ship that everybody lives on in that game... Total rip off.

I would ask what the Conduit it in The Conduit is and then mention what it is in Mass Effect, but that's a huge spoiler.

I guess the name sounds cool to them.

I've heard The Conduit's soundtrack rips off the minor E scale a couple of times too.
