How easy is it to download old games (NES, Genesis, Turbo Graph. 16) and do they look and play as good as the originals? Is it a direct download to the system by logging online like you would with a 360? I'm thinking of buying a Wii just so I can use it for old classic games I want plus the new Wii games.

There is no log in needed. They look the same as they did back then, and I'm pretty sure that both Gamespot and IGN have been reviewing most of the games coming out.

It's very easy, you just enter to a special "shop channel", buy some wii points with credit card, download them in few seconds, and that's it.

It's easy and quick. And yes, they are perfect emulations as far as I have seen and played.

Well....

Step 1:Click on Wii Shop Channel

Step 2: Wait for Shop Channel to load

Step 3: Hit Start Shopping

Step 4: Add Wii points via Credit Card or Wii Points card.

Step 5: Hit Virtual Console

Step 6: Browse for the game you want to download

Step 7: Confirm Download

Step 8: Watch the download screen (Mario hitting blocks)

Step 9: Go to the Wii's Main interface

Step 10: Find the game you just downloaded

Step 11: Play and Enjoy

Hope this makes a self explainatory system even more easy....

Well, if Nintendo releases most of their library then this is a huge reason to get a Wii.

or purchase a 20 dollar (2000 points) card from a local store.
