Simple question for those disappointed: What games could Microsoft have realistically announced that would've made you say "Yeah, that's pretty cool, Microsoft had a pretty awesome press conference"?

Realistically the only thing I thought was missing was a showing from Rare. Then again I'm not saying I was dissapointed :P
I actually found it to be pretty good. It didint blow my mind or anything, but still good. I still wish Wake was 09 not 10 same for crackdown 2. Since I wanted to play my 360 this year.
In an interview with the G4 crew, Shane Kim said that Microsoft had not announced all their upcoming games. So fear not, more good games will come (that means you Mass Effect 2!)

I"m not disappointed, but I think they really should have put less effort into the non-game stuff.Head_of_gamesI argued in System Wars while they did the non-game stuff LOL. It was like "Halo 3 ODST *eyes glued to the screen* Jumper Cars Racer *argue in system wars* New game from Epic *eyes glued to screen* Streaming in 1080p *argues on system wars*
New games that we haven't known about for a long time? They managed 3, two of which are multi platform titles. Aside from new footage, there really wasn't anything to get excited about, outside of Natel, which may or may not be any good.jonnyt61

I'm not really dissapointed, just far from blown away. What I wanted was what I always want from any E3, new, original, exclusive AAA IP's. Microsoft showed some good games, and kudos to them for making 'Natal' intriguing to me even though I went in expecting utter garbage. It's an interesting novelty but I dont think its ground-breaking, is it gimmicky? slightly, is it pretty much a better version of the EyeToy? pretty much, but what I hope to see is if they could possibly get developers (aside from crazy Peter Molyneux) to make good games on this.
Overall pretty good, slightly 'meh', far from great, good job microsoft.
