I was burned with Halo 2, after all I'd heard about it. I genuinely believed it would get a better score than Halo: CE. But with Halo 3, the stuff being mentioned in the game is grander, battles are massive. For this reason, that you are once again a soldier who is part of the battle, rather than H2's supersoldier feeling, that I think that Halo 3 can improve on Halo 2's score. Part of what made Combat evolved a much more immersive, believable and enjoyable game was the massive battles that made you feel just as vulnerable as any other Human or Covenant Soldier. So go ahead, I dare someone to quote me and put it in their sig if they don't think Halo 3 is capable of a 9.5 minimum score.
No, they wont hand them out like Candy, but Bungie is a proven developer with 2 AAA titles from the last gen. Alot of new improvements and changes are being implimented for this title and they're bringing back massive battles. It's what everyone felt was missing from H2.

It actually gives me pain that GS gave Jade Empire AA, it was easily AAA.
