"Halo 3 Looks Like Halo 2"...... XD

Now can i just say how funny i find it when people say "Halo 3 looks like Halo 2",,,, mainly because "ITS A ******* SEQUAL"!!!!! Was you expecting some sort of radically different art style or something (cell shaded or dark Gears Of War style maybe)? Also could you start providing examples of what objects or textures in Halo 3 "Look ****", because iam sure that if you compared them to most current gen games it would be on par at least!

BTW, i dont own any console but i loved playing Halo 1 cooperative in the good old days!

I never even mentioned Killzone 2. Also, have we even seen any recent Killzone 2 pics? If we have, i'm sorry, i missed them. I don't always check this place. We have seen tons of pics of Halo 3 already and lemmings were making all kinds of excuses about them saying they are alpha and all that. Look what's happening now.

I agree that using the whole "its a Beta" excuse is not well founded at all. But really the truth is the gameplay will be awesome and that is by far one of the most important factors here! Im guessing you just have a lot of pent up anger inside that you need to vent out somewhere.

People are'nt buying it to stare at its CG render, they are buying it to play it. Believe it or not Gameplay > Graphics 100% of the time. I don't understand you, why are you having such a hard to accepting peoples opinion about Graphics, especially when the graphics your talking about can't be acheived on your beloved Wii.

I know. This isn't about the gameplay, it's quite obvious that it's going to be good. I actually like Halo. Not so sure about 2 but i loved the original. Hopefully 3 will pick up in it's tracks. This is about the whole graphics matter.

Ok so if I go by your logic, the final game could be another genre and completly change? Just stop your damn excuses. And btw I never heard about Halo beeing an RTS but I know it was originally in 3rd person. Now come one we all know Halo 3 is still going to be an FPS and wont change that much. There is a difference between Halo CE and Halo 3, people are expecting a lot...

wth are you talking about. why do you bring crysis? I fail to understand what you mean. This guy said that it doesnt matter if Halo doesnt look like "z0mg crysis" because gameplay is what matters the most. But Lemmings had a hard time accepting this because they wanted graphics. And yes, it started of as an RTS, i have Halo 2 LE and in it there is gameplay footage of it. And yes, there is somebody confirming its an RTS.

Nobody hyped the graphics?  Well, Xbox360 fanboys at my school were saying that developers claimed it would use the Xbox360 hardware to its maximum potential.  Some people may not have hyped the graphics, but it's a whole different scenario for the others.

Ill had somehting else. I though a Beta was a version prior to release and only little changes are made before the final release. I think there is a difference between polishing a game(the beta) before it comes out and completly changing the plans.

It having AAAs & a year headstart is irrelevant to me buying one. Let me say it again, I bought a 360 for its library because it has the largest of the 3 w/the most AAAs and yes, even at lauch it managed to muster 1 AAA status game. Wii doe'snt know AAA games yet so why are you trying to argue in that regard. And Dumbo was actually a pretty smart Elephant, He could fly :)

when i expect halo for the next generation

i dont expect a halo2 sequel in HD

i expect a massive overhaul where the environments are full of life.. sort of like crysis or atleast.. fracture

lol i know you're joking, but i dont' think anyone expects halo 3 to look like GeOW or crysis, just a graphics upgrade to make it look like a game from this gen.

Believe me, lemmings were hyping this game's graphics a lot. It just sickens me how they never accept ownage for anything, ever. They always have excuses for everything. Their excuse now? "It's not about the graphics! It's about the gameplay! Nevermind the fact that we argued a lot about graphics and all that in the past!" They should be getting some grief after all that crap.

lol ok fakeboy i don't think anyone hyped the graphics and if they did they are stupid.  i expect a graphics upgrade and thats all and  with a better story than halo 2 

Nobody hyped the graphics?  Well, Xbox360 fanboys at my school were saying that developers claimed it would use the Xbox360 hardware to its maximum potential.  Some people may not have hyped the graphics, but it's a whole different scenario for the others.
