I keep seeing this. Everybody remembers last year's E3 and how Sony didn't deliver. Didn't they need it to be the best since they were launching the PS3 at a high price tag ?

It's like saying
"Public education will have the most funding because they need it!"
Not gonna happen in reality.

Sony was arrogant last E3. They didn't prepare hard enough, and they honestly believed that people would flock to the PS3 at $600. This time, however, will be a different story altogether. Microsoft is leaning towards Halo 3 to pull more hardware and software sales, Nintendo will be more arrogant than usual because of the success of Wii, and Sony will be HUMBLED for once this time. Sony will definitely obliterate Nintendo and Microsoft this E3. Now, this may not translate into better PS3 sales. But the E3 itself....Sony will win. Just watch.
What really does so have left that can WOW us? They blew their load already.Duckman5Even worse, they were taking viagra when they first blew it. Now anything we see at E3, notably from Killzone 2, will be a bit disappointing after the CGI videos we were shown.

been watching, same bird, same tune. Sony needs to prove themselves. When was the last time they were in that situation? The PS1.[QUOTE="Forza_2"]I keep seeing this. this is the best i've heard out of these forums so far.. your exactly right.. they've garuanteed a place of themselves by including blu-ray but ultimately, the ps3 is still a game machine.. I sincerely hope that will be seeing something more than what they had last year.. possibly even playable betas of mgs, ff and kill zone2 might be enough (if not, IS) to take the wind out of halo3.. My fingers are crossed that we won't be seeing another playstation atleast until 2012 (rumors, spec sheets, prototype, dev kits, etc...)

Nintendo won't be arrogant. They were 11 years ago with the N64, look what happened: 2 generations at the bottom. I'm sure after 10 years of failure they learned their lesson. Besides, they've been quiet... last time they were quiet, I was plesently suprised. As for M$, all they have to do is show single player footage for Halo 3 and a teaser trailer Gears of War 2 to excite the fans. Sony needs to step it up to impress their fans.[QUOTE="AvIdGaMeR444"][QUOTE="Forza_2"]I keep seeing this. Everybody remembers last year's E3 and how Sony didn't deliver. They may have made profit, but they had a smaller fanbase because of the N64. Losing fanbase = Failure. Edit: We, the consumers, would have seen many more great titles if Nintendo would have maintained their userbase from the SNES / NES days. Please Log In to post.
