is this a joke, what sony fan would be happy about paying a monthly fee for a game? the reason why i bought my ps3 was because of the free online but now it looks if i want to play agency im going to have to pay... so wheres the news that was going to make 360 fans envy the ps3?

It doesn't even matter because The Agency (at least, not sure about the other MMOs) is coming out on PC as well, so it can't even be claimed as an exclusive, just like all of the 360 games that are also on PC. So what's even the point?SpaceMatt

Have you not realized by now that people are talking about console exclusives. Some annoying dude does this every time there is a thread about exclusives. It steers the conversation away from the topic.We get it most games of quality will be on PC if they are on one of the consoles.

Sigh... frankly I don't care about the whole console-PC exclusive debate, I just want people to pick one standard and stay with it. I see 360 fans get hammered because "all of their games" come out on PC, then this comes out and it's all "360 can't handle this."

That's not how it works. They make money on attatch rate (games and accessories). That takes years, but it works. As for sixaxis...how bout rumble? lol.

All MMO's are this way, and for anyone getting their hopes up.. SOE isn't that great at making MMO's.MTBare

You must of never played Everquest, Everquest 2, Planetside or SWG. The team making this is the team that was making the Mythicia(SP?) game for Microsoft, a game many called the one game that would stomp WoW on all levels.

Or they could go the Guild Wars model and not charge you anything... they haven't discussed pricing... but I do expect some sort of monthly fee. Can't be sure until it comes out though... all MMO's don't include fees. I never got into FFXI, did it include a monthly fee?

That's because the hype behind that game was 'From the original creators of EQ' crap. But Warhammer Online will stomp WoW no doubt. That game has very high props going for it.

Actually, the concept behind the game and the developmental gameplay style all sound pretty cool if you're into either rpg's, fps, or mmo's to begin with. Anyway, the game is scheduled until next summer anyway... so this is one of those titles I'll just wait to see what it becomes. Sounds like it has promise though.

With the amount of hype Killzone has, I believe the outcome of Killzone will determine Playstation's future. Thats how much hype is around this game. Sony can't afford to miss with this one.
