I see what you did there....

Nice art overall ... but still they have to work on those shadows...that car is in not hit by any light source so I don't see any reason why it should have that shadow...:)

Its a fun looking game albeit the textures are fairly muddy

I hope it plays as good as it looks.

So far it seems to me kind of copy of Bordelands...same level design, same gamepaly (deploying turrets), kind of cell shading (from some viewpoints).

Looks good although I'm still not convinced it's a day 1 buy for me.

Graphics look alright, but the gameplay in the video looks pretty boring.

Inconsistancy

simply amazing. gorgeous art style and visuals, 60fps in an open world setting on the consoles and it still has that level of detail.

Id tech 5 runs on magic. :P

EDIT: gameplay looks awesome, overall I'm just extremely hyped for this game. this, infamous 2, and uncharted 3 are my most hyped games for consoles this year. :D

oh and guys this is console footage/screenshots. if you watch the e3 demo of RAGE when tim willits was playing the 360 version, some of the commands buttons showed up as keyboard keys.

Plus that footage was locked at 30 fps(why? :( ),plus those shots are screen caps from HD video.Meaning-not direct feed.Which means textures will be muddy by default.

it does, but the video shown does not run in 60fps. (may be a problem with video software?)

these are highly compressed screens - not direct feed. that should explain that.

as for looking worse than crysis 2, well RAGE has even bigger environments, runs in 60fps, and is 720p HD.

The game looks a lot better in motion.

id said that they had to cut down things in Rage to get it to run at 60fps and that Doom4 will be their graphics powerhouse. Also, pet-peeve, it's id, lower case.

Also, it's their first directx engine, and it's only dx9 :cry:

I hate how everyone says, "Oh, another shooter..."

I mean just because there are alot of them, doesn't mean a few can be better than others and worth playing.

Its amazing how the world has become all about graphics..Its not that bad..Ill wait for e3 to see some good shots of the game to make my call.Ive already pre ordered and been waiting a long time for this..The game looks fun ids new engine looks great..There is another game do out with the same engine forget the games name..Lot of devs will use this engine also..
