Ragnarok - wow

What a f*cking game! The gameplay is so tight. The graphics are unreal at 40fps on my 4K OLED. I tried avoiding spoilers and have have read many people complaining that Atreus is too whiny and helps you out too much with the puzzles. Such a nitpicky butthurt complaint I tell you - it’s such a non issue

My GOTY by far.

Bit of an odd frame rate, especially for a fighting game.

In terms of atreus spoiling the solutions to puzzles that was my biggest complaint about Horizon Forbidden west. The second you walk into a room Aloy flat out gives the solution instead of letting players figure it for themselves.

It was an amazing game.

I still think 2018 was better just on story along.

But I still enjoyed all 50 hours of Ragnorok

Maybe when you can beat Resident Evil 2 with less than 10 saves your opinion will be respected 🤣 Until then, 100+ saves isn’t going to cut it, not for a 8-10 hour game.

Solid 8/10 game that sticks way to close to its predecessor to be higher than that imo. Also to much padding in the form of boring side quests that just amount to go to each realm and press x at the glowing point…

Also on a personal note I found the difficult options pretty bad, normal is way to easy to the point where you can just button mash your way against 98% of the bosses and the next difficult level is punishing hard.. wish it had a level between these two:)

Extremely good, 9.5/10 game. Second best game of the generation, third best game of the decade so far.

From the people I know who played the game, being one person, they said there's so much walking in the game. That's not a good thing for someone to mention to you when you've never played it. In fact, that's not something you hear too often when asking about how a game was. Interesting. Never played it, never will.

Wasn't my goty over ER, but was very close until the last 4th of the game. Did not like the ending, how Atreus didn't do any Loki things, Ragnarok hyped for two games, and barely seen on screen, etc, etc. Still 9/10, tho.

FPS that low literally hurts my eyes at this point, so gonna' wait for the real version. Also isn't it actually 30 fps on the highest setting?

Anyway I did enjoy the previous game and look forward to playing this new one but am waiting for a sale. Shouldn’t be too long.

Played Mafia. The WORST game I’ve ever played.

When i was really into the story (which was before you kill Heimdall), i imagined the ending being completely different and much more memorable.

Love this game. Only flaw to me so far are the walking sections, which isn't that much tbh.

I wasn't that annoyed with Ironwood.

Weird how most games back in the day were difficult to beat and aimed at children, and most games nowadays are easy to beat and aimed at adults.

People on this board will call Mario Odyssey kiddie trash (I do agree the game is easy) and then praise a game like GOW Ragnarok that is easier than Mario Odyssey- atleast on most difficulty settings.
