It's pretty funny how they just blast through every single door. Opening doors normally is for pussies anyway.
I had so many memories watching that new gameplay. I might have to round up my old crew from 2006 for this when it comes out. Nice little bomb you dropped at the end of your show UBI.
I real hostage situations the hostage, regardless of who they are, get zip tied.
Game looks terrible.
Looks totally epic... I'm not going to put it on my wish list until there is a release date... Since Rainbow Six Patriots never got released.
Apart from the usual Ubisoft scripted/fake gameplay this looks really good. I was quite surprised by the direction they appear to have chosen for R6 specially since Vegas has a lot of fans (not sure why that is though TBH). This is one of the most interesting games that have been shown at this E3 so far in my book.
this is as much of a gameplay as watching Godzilla 2014. This is not gameplay, this is what Ubisoft shits on everyone with and build hype.
Well, this just in. R6 Siege will be a heavily multiplayer-oriented title. Probably an MP game with 3 hours of singleplayer campaign.
And yet I was hoping we'll get a good SWAT singleplayer game afterall :-(
I haven't seen so much balsa wood since the original Crysis, but this looks fun. I especially like the setup, it seems more of a mix of what Counter-Strike and used to be (hostage rescue missions), and what the original Rainbow Six design was like (short but thoughtful tactical gameplay), this could make for some interesting online skirmishes.
I have to wonder if this is gonna be a $15 dollar payday 2 style game. It's not really what I expected. Five minute countdown? Is it multiplayer only or were they just only showing off the multiplayer for some reason? So you don't control an actual team? I bet it won't even have dedicated fucking lean buttons. The gunplay looked horrendous too, but I'll count that down to early alpha or whatever. Overall, not impressed.
@PcGamingRig I've heard others say this as well. What exactly about this reminds you of Swat? The game looks nothing remotely like it.
Looks like a 2008 FPS.
Graphics look very generic. Wolfenstein looks much better.
Its pre-alpha. I'd be more worried if they looked like that 3 months before release.
Yes, they're very plain looking. More shine & detail in everything needed.

It's pre-alpha, what did you expect
CS was never like that.
yeah it was, it had hostage rescue for counter-terrorists offensive objective, it also didn't have respawning either

Yeah, so does CS:GO. There are different modes and settings.
The gameplay is or will be nothing alike.

I guess it needs more overdone post-processing effects and gun skins that only appeal 13 year olds.

I didn't say it would, I said it shared a characteristic. You appear to have lost site of that only taking a snippet of my original post.
CS was never like that.

And it still has hostage rescue and no respawning.. What are you even talking about?

I'm talking about how the new Rainbow Six has elements of the Counter-Strike MP, i.e. hostage rescue and no respawn, I'm not bringing it up as a criticism to say it's unoriginal or anything like that, rather as something I find appealing as a tried and true gameplay style for competitive MP, coupled with the tactical option styles of previous Rainbow Six games, I think this makes for a very promising game. Hostage rescue was actually a part of the original Rainbow Six's single player, I mainly brought up Counter-Strike since they had it as a competitive multiplayer offensive objective for Counter-Terrorists. What's his stupid face misquoted me to make it sound like I said something I didn't say. What wasn't clear about that from my previous statements?
