Rambo whoops all sorts of ass! This game will rule just by having Rambo in it. Way better than Arnold Schwarzenegger's movies.

Another underappreciate AAA title that gets the black sheep treatment because SW's would rather cheer kiddy Mario. 

I only play M-rated games. It's a maturity thing.

lol! You should've expected it. Besides, we play with low key forms of Rambo in nearly every shooter imaginable now, only with far better "everything else". There was no way for a game based on this crazy meathead -- to look anything other than terrible in this day and age. 

Well, the character models have been given an upgrade from the NES days.

It looks like we're getting every Rambo movie in one game and it looks wonderfully awful. I'm down when its in the bargain bin and the last Rambo movie did kick some serious ass.

No matter how bad this is, it is still better than the old NES version. I was reading this review of it and had a flashback to the eighties and felt compelled to post. The Good

• Some comedy value in how weird and un-Rambo like it is, but the laughs arent worth the frustration.
• At the end you can frag Marshall Murdock by turning him into a giant frog.
• Alternate ending gives the choice to not save the POWs.
• Unlimited continues.

The Bad

• Extremely frustrating controls with a lag time that often causes you to be hit by your enemy before you can even fire.
• The password saves are too long, overly complex and dont always work.
• Most weapons consist of knives and arrows. You dont get a machine gun until deep into the game.
• Although you do eventually get to battle some bad guys, most enemies consist of giant spiders, bats, killer birds, piranha, and a floating skull-ghost thingy. Very un-Rambo.
• RPG-style path choices are mostly cosmetic. If you dont select the choice that moves the game along, itll just redirect you to the answer the programmers wanted you to choose.
• Used the Zelda II: The Adventure of Link code, simplified the design, removed the RPG elements, and didnt add anything of note besides low quality graphics.
• With no in-game map, cardinal directions that are inaccurate, and environments that all look alike, you are guaranteed to get lost.
• Rambos design and outfit makes him look like an overweight ballet dancer.

I always wanted to play a video game about a soldier suffering PTSD.

Rambo is awesome but he hasn't had a good game since the Sega Genesis times.

Great theme for a video game too that could combine stealth with shooting and melee combat.

Well I'd certainly buy this shit over the next cut and paste Call of Duty.

Speaking of games based on films released in 1982, E.T. Now that's a videogame we need a company to have another attempt at. The last release on the Atari was flawless, no game has followed a plot so accurately. Way ahead of its time.

Looks terrible, why would they make the movie plotlines into a video game? Why not make a new Rambo story, or set it in Vietnam when Rambo is fighting as a Green Beret? Moreover they completely missed the point of the First Blood because they had Rambo straight-up murder one of the Police Officers with a knife. In First Blood the only person Rambo kills is in self defense after being shot at.

The graphics look absolutely horrible, but you can be sure I'll buy this if it comes to PC.  There's no way that a Rambo games comes out and I don't have it.
