Sorry if this has been posted. I honestly hate posting links, b/c they're hard to track on here sometimes....

_____

If you managed to get an early (on time?) copy of Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, you may have received a message saying you lacked sufficient hard drive space to start the game. Problem is, you may have received this message if you have too much free space on your drive.

Before loading up, the game requires a number of files to be copied to your hard drive, but a glitch is causing it to read the drive as full, if it has certain amounts of free space. "We recently discovered a bug on the US version of Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction that some of you may encounter the first time you boot the game," said Insomniac Games community manager James Stevenson to Shacknews. "With specific amounts of free space on your drive, you may see a screen that tells you [you] have insufficient space to create game data even though there is plenty of free space on your drive."

The solution? "When this occurs, either delete or add about 500MB of data to your hard drive and the problem will go away," Stevenson said. Simple enough if you're downloading plenty of content from the PlayStation Network, but a potential pain for anyone who may not have their PlayStation 3 connected to the net.

Transferring about seven or eight CDs worth of music to your hard drive before being able to play the game sounds like loads of fun, doesn't it?

That's what I was thinking, that's an interesting fix. I'd assume it'll be patched soon, but for the time being that's a funny bug.
