By the way, a little fyi. The mouse matters much moreso than the keyboard does.
You do have a point on those budget keyboards, however, you have to remember cheap goods are not good and will therefore break quite easily. How can you say that a mouse matters much more? that is like saying you don't need the D pad or analog sticks on a console controllers. Without the keyboard how do you move? change weapons? give out special commands? you are trying to ignore the real problem with keyboards. It is at least 3 times larger than a controller and far more cumbersome. With one controller I can do as much as you want with any razorback mouse!Ummm because you are holding a mouse and it needs to glide and feel right in your hand, but a keyboard isnt as different from one another and has a place you generally keep your hand positioned. It is just different and any PC gamer would acknowledge that mouse is more important lol. BTW I bought this KB years ago for about $40 and it is durable, feels great and has lasted through my many water spillings :P. My buddy had the Saitek II (this KB) first and I loved it and bought one aswell. KB/M dominates all other control schemes :).

BTW Dualshock 3 is THE WORST!! those analog sticks are just not as smooth as Xbox's, too rigid.
