Rare considering more remakes of older games

Rare has told CVG that there are 'no shortage of possibilities' to remake more of its ****c games for Xbox Live Arcade - as it finishes porting Perfect Dark onto the platform.

"We know there are a lot of people looking forward to that. There's nothing to announce yet after Perfect Dark, but we've got over 25 years of IP to dip into so there's no shortage of possibilities."

This is interesting, I hope they remake some of their old IPS ( as well as new ones please!)

Killer Instinct 1 and 2, Battletoads on NES and the 1994 Arcade version which is actually my favorite Battletoads game please, make it happen!

I still remember laughing at my friend (in ridicule) when he was telling me how Conker 64 would have swearing, sexual themes, crapping among other things of similar nature.

Needs moar sequels and re-releases. Remakes are pretty much a huge waste of time and resources.

I dont blame them, the best thing they put out this gen was viva pinata, and even that wasnt as good as their past work.

sadly they arent allowed to do that one due to a legal battle they got in with Nintendo that granted neither companies the ful rights to republish that game on the 360 OR the Wii :(

I'm still at a lost as to why M$ has shackled RARE when they have a plethra of games that could be rleased on XBLA. They started with Banjo and are "stopping" with PD. It's crazy how many Nintendo heads could've been swayed into picking up a 360 if they had some of their N64 favorites. Ah well..

To some extent yes, a lot of the talent that helped make Rare great back in the day has sense left. Hopefully them doing more remakes will help to show their new developers what made the origonal games so great to maybe influence their newer developers on how to make great games.

Killer Instinct XBLA HD Remake would be an instant buy for me. Please make it happen Rare.

I agree I have came up on the forums talking about Road Rash since 2003 do the developers even listen to us really? I remember some news being put out recently about road rash some singer from some stupid rock band said there would be a new road rash. Now, it's 2010 and still waiting for road rash. It got to the point to where I bought a n64 4 controllers and had 3 of my friends come over and play road rash. OMG I WANT NEW ROAD RASH DEVELOPERS LISTEN TO WHAT I SAY "NEW ROAD RASH GAME WILL BE GAME OF THE YEAR IF YOU MAKE ONE!"
