Could this be rares new project , also it's been hinted that this might use Natal.

you have to replicate cinders movements to do his combo in killer instinct 3 with natal lol.I have no idea how the heck Natal would work with a fighting game.

I think an optional traditional controller would be the best idea as well, I mean, I can understand the punching, but kicking? And Jumping? Really now?

Good luck playing Orchid, she does split kicks  I guess I will be playing as TJ combo lol.
It simply would not. At all.I have no idea how the heck Natal would work with a fighting game.

they could've sold me a 360 if i had read "Rare to make KI3 and use a standard controller" i'm not actually Jago and can't actually wind kick, which is why i want a controller to do it. if i wanted to actually fight i'd join Tap out or a local MMA group.

Ok, 1.) Even if this IS true, no way you're going to be expected to defy gravity to pull of a move , and 2.) I'd take a video game over actually getting beaten up
I think there would be lulz if this was true.

But I get a nice view at least.:P TJ Combo, man, I hope they improve him, he's one of my least used characters, I used Jago, Orchid, Fulgore, Kim Wu, Riptor and Sabrewulf the most though.[QUOTE="zarshack"]not looking forward to trying 50x combos with natal? :) WiiFit eat your heart out.I have no idea how the heck Natal would work with a fighting game.

well what made the first 2 KI's awesome is that they were kinda twitch fighters if that makes sense. combo breaking was twitch timing, as was setting up long combos in the quicker speed settings. the whole game had what i consider a pretty tight fighting mechanic and i think trying to bring that to natal would be a disaster, they'd have to make it a completely different game and if they do that, they might as well call it something else since thats not killer instinct to me.
Same for me with the standard controller but the humiliation's could be funny as hell with natal.they could've sold me a 360 if i had read "Rare to make KI3 and use a standard controller" i'm not actually Jago and can't actually wind kick, which is why i want a controller to do it. if i wanted to actually fight i'd join Tap out or a local MMA group.

TJ Combo was the easiest character to use from what I remember. His movements were so easy to use and had few weaknesses. His complete ending was the first one I managed to get in the first game.

I just couldn't get into him that much, no matter how hard I tried, probably just me though. I managed to do Orchid's ultra combos and finishing moves before any of the other characters in both games, maybe I have a thing for her.:Pactually the only reason im interested in this is the natal usage. killer instinct was never good, so unless theyve revamped the system to not be garbage (in other words made a totally new game but kept the old name), i might actualy want to play it. but given there is a dearth of good fighters out right now, there is literally no reason to care about something like ki without a gimmick.

lol.... I do. And its not a pretty sight
[QUOTE="chikenfriedrice"]lol, you better start stretching  Im sure it will be optional like sixaxis, or the wii controls If not, then oh my god. Lets keep the dream alive.I want KI3 but not with Natal....idk how that would work I can't kick very high

I'm sure Rare would make it limited motion sensors, like punch at an upward angle for a certain punch button, punch straight for a different type, and punch at a downward angle for a third type etc...
Kicking would be a little more complex for those who are a not so gifted in the agility/athletic department. Jumping could also be a tricky isue. If done right it could be fun, I just don't see how they could do it without slowing it down a lot and thus really tarnishing what the fans of the series love so much about the game, the twitch based timing and combos.
From name alone though I'm sure the game will sell a ton of copies. Too many people out there who grew up on that game in the arcade. man those were the days :)

Sorry but that award goes to cinder. All you had to do was keep pressing forward and punch.Edit:
And on this whole idea, people are Finally starting to realize that Natal can't be used for Real Games. This is a terrible idea from start to finish and Rare would be doing themselves a favor just to not make it if they're planning on Natal use. Adventure, Fighting, RPG's, Action, FPS, TPSand any other games that involve your character to move around a big area will not work with Natal. Sorry, Natal is a joke to motion sensing.
