well I've heard all the news of rare going into natal as a first priority, and rare has a whole lot of neat franchises they could use to test it out. well recent news articles are telling use that rare may bring back KI series, and incorparate natal: http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/105/1050125p1.html

othe sources tell use that Rare might actually still be workking on on a kameo 2. http://www.videogamesblogger.com/2009/01/13/kameo-2-for-xbox-360-on-rares-mind-since-2005.htm

The have also announced that Perfect dark 2 is on hold in order to focus on natal development. www.mundorare.com/news/2009/11/perfect-dark-2-canceled-may-have-evolved-into-something-else/(read this on PD2 is on hold not cancelled) and there is a slight chance that PD2 may be natals first FPS, vid inside.

other news is banjo three, I don't have a link but rare said that they were working on B3 along side BK-N&B

which of these game sdo you think will incorparate natal, why? which do you see failing to utilize natal?

or a development team Microsoft doesn't know how to use. When they rushed them, they made the biggest letdown Rare has ever made(PDZ, bu bu the score), and one of the most soulless games on the face of the planet(that would be kameo) now when they had time they delivered a game that was not just good because it was surprsing at how good it was, but in general the game itself was a crap load of fun(Viva Pinata) Which they sort of rehashed, but added enough content to warrent the sequal price tag....oh wait it was 40 bucks(Trouble in Paradise) and then they made a damn good Banjo Game. Rare may not be the GOD TIER developer they were in the 64 era, but they sure as hell can get the job done. Microsoft needs to let Rare do whatever Rare wants.

Hmm, my dreams of playing a new Conker in 2010 have dwindled a bunch but a Banjo 3, direct sequel to Banjo 2 with a hefty injection of Natal would also be pretty damn awesome to give a try. Rare seems to be wearing many hats and a intergal part inside the MS development machine so I'm feeling good about whatever they end up delivering - bring it on.

Rushed them? Perfect Dark Zero started development on the Gamecube, then Xbox, then Xbox 360. Not sure how "rushed" they were.

The 2 games were rushed for the launch...they may have had long dev cycles but once they started rushing the 360...the were rushing PDZ and Kameo for Launch.

I'd LOVE to see Kameo 2. The first one was a blast. However, I don't think I'd want that game to use Natal. Killer Instinct is something that's on a lot of people's minds, if it would sell, I'd be happy for Rare to make it. Their games lately haven't been selling as well as they deserve. I wouldn't particularly care about a new Perfect Dark game, but if they wanna make it, I'll still probably get it.

I'd really like to see some new IPs. But what I think would be really interesting, is if Rare would make a kart racer. It's something that could work with Natal, it'd be another family friendly game for 360, and it'd be something the Xbox 360 really doesn't have.

Rare is a shadow of its former self.

In its hayday,Rare created a AAA game almost every 6 months on the N64 ,I doubt we'll see that level of excellence from them again any time soon.

No one developer has delivered that kind of performance this gen or the previous gen, they way Rare delivered during the 64 era. It wasn't just quality, it was quantity and it was variety in genre 4 platformers= 2 banjo games, 1 DK platformer, Conkers Bad Fur Day 2 Combat Racer= Diddy Kong Racing, Blast Corpos 3 Shooters= Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, Jet Force Gemini I mean I'm probably missing something here, but they have such a rich pedigree of greatness.

Your link on Kameo is from January. MS said it was dead long after that, so I doubt they are working on it.

I think a lot of big games will be released for NATAL. That way hardcore gamers will be forced to buy NATAL if they want to play some of their favorite games.

I personally don't want Natal used with Killer Instinct 3 and Perfect Dark 2, only Kameo 2 would be a better possibly though. Or, they can use it and have optional traditional controllers as well. Like they always say: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Who wants to pull off Ultra Combos and move like a sexy agent with that anyways?

They should use Natal only for games that are best designed around the certain genres, or new IPs in general.

I hope MS lets Rare develope a new Banjo Kazooie game or remade Jet Force Gemini, 360 needs great platform games and with natal it could be a casual market hit

plus they need to get in gear and release a new Killer Instinct

Built a well polished new Perfect Dark game.....not a sequal to zero please and with natal capabilities could possible be a hit also!!

RARE has countless opportunities to bounce back, So whats the hold up damnit!!! :x

sorry no, kameo was far from souless and the XBLA releases of banjo kazooie and banjo tooie were amazing, nuts and bolts was great, as for that how was rare rushed? PD0 was a original xbox title before it was moved to the 360 It had how long of a development? in reality PD0 sucked because by that time every FPS programmer had left and made Free radical *which went out of buisness so shows you how much of a talent was there*

SecretPolice

I disagree. All I want is a normal sequal to Banjo Tooie. No cars, no motion control, no gimmicks: a platformer that is similar to the N64 titles. Don't you crave a normal Banjo? :P

I agree and I think both are possible since IMO, MS will never make Natal necessary as in, you can if youchoose to just use the standard controller. If I'm wrong then I'll be the first to say that's just wrong headed of them. :)
