Yes he does, look closely at the big pic at the top and look at his left ear.  You can see some but it's not too exaggerated.

It definitely looks like what I would expect from a high-quality next-gen platformer.  Can't wait to see it in motion, but I probably won't be able to play it since I probably won't ever get a PS3.

Well, you've made it abundantly clear throughout your time here that you're a huge Sony fanboy so it's obvious that to you, no game is AAA quality unless it's on the PS3. :|

And yeah, of course MS paid everyone to give them good reviews. Gears of War couldn't possibly be good. :roll:

I don't own a 360, PS3, or a Wii, in fact I'm actually probably going to end up getting a PS3.  And I agree that Gears of War was over-rated, but overrated by "miles?"  There is no way you can say "overrated by miles"; the game is a technical achievement, so even if you don't like the game you can't say its 6.9, unless you are being sarcastic. 

And yes, you are entitled to your own opinion, but you can't deny the fact that it is great looking game.  It may not be your type of game, but even so, you must take into account that its one of the best in the genre.

Gears of War is universally praised for its mostly fluid animations, sound, excellent graphics (due to its high poly count) and AA and AF are rendered moot because it's incredibly difficult to spot jaggies when the game is in motion. A few enemies on screen doesn't matter, its 8 player online is praised as being more entertaining than Resistance's 40 player online, etc.

But even if all of that was true, it's still rated higher than the PS3's highest rated game...

And don't try to pull Gamerankings in here because Gears is rated higher there too.

But wait, MS paid every single reviewer on GameRankings to rank Gears higher right? :lol:

It is kind of odd...I found the A.I. in the game to be pretty good.  That was playing on a decent difficulty setting, not easy or anything like that.  Sound extremely good I thought, I mean I played with a surround sound, what type I don't know I was at a friend's playing the game in co-op, and the sound was very good. 

Polygon count, well I'm sorry but I can't exactly say anything on that cause frankly I don't know about that.  Same goes for whatever you mean by aa and af. 

Just a few enemies on screen, well I felt that if there were anymore I wouldn't stand a chance.  Maybe I am just a terrible player but like I said, I would have been swarmed I think.  I haven't played online, but I'm sure too many people in a game like that would be just the same as having many characters on screen.  Yes, the 8 hour game(swear it was shorter for me but probably cause I was in co-op) is very disappointing, but some people do multiple play-throughs and they play online; not everyone has the time to go through a 20 hour story either. 

Well I have found that all your problems weren't really problems all that much, aside from the polygon count and aa and af stuff because I don't know what that all is.  So yes I wouldn't mind if you kept going with reasons to get me to believe why Gears of War, while overrated, isn't the technically impressive game others say it is. 

**Edit:  And I'm not trying to compare Gears to Resistance, GermanShepard.  I haven't played nor have I seen the game in action, but from what I hear it sounds great and when I get a PS3 I'll probably end up picking it up. Just wondering, what would you rate Gears overall (use the Gamespot system if you like)?
