Ratchet and Mario versus LittleBigPlanet

First of all, the sound, graphics, artistic design and especially the physics of LittleBigPlanet are all amazing! But can the traditional platform gameplay compete with such amazing games as Ratchet & Clank future and Super Mario Galaxy?

Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction looks amazing. This game is more than worthy of it's AAA hype, and is easily the best game coming to the Playstation 3 in 2007.

i have VERY high hopes for Galaxy.

i have high hopes for Ratchet

but i think Little big planet has a chance at getting a PERFECT score. i seriously think it's possible.

mario and ratchet look way more fun than LBP, but i think LBP will score low-high AAm whereas SMG and RaCF will both be AAA possibly AAAARacoonusDoodus

But to be on topic, I know that I'll enjoy playing LBP more than both of them although despite being platformers at heart none of these games strike me as particularly similar. Or not enough to compare them.

Youtube is better, but I couldn't find that particular developer walkthrough (which is very detailed) on Youtube.

I think SMG and Ratchet will score 9.0s or 9.5s. LBP looks great, but I can't see it being more than mid-AA.

You don't have to be hateful to have an opinion.
From what we've seen, it's a sandbox game where you design levels for others to run around in - it doesn't seem to have a huge amount of depth, and I don't see why it should get an AAA score.

Also, their last game was disappointing, and got boring after a few playthroughs - what's to say that this will be any different?

I haven't seen anything that would make me think SMG will score less than a 9. Seriously, it looks like the proper follow up to SM 64 that we've all been waiting for for over a decade.
