Ratchet or Mario (Poll)

Whats the best platform ? :roll:

i think Ratchet cuz guns,upgrades,shooting is so fun,and The first level was eye candy,looks like a pixar movie

Mario, just more classic...rachet is awsome don;t get me wrong (ToD is one of the few games i would get a PS3 for)

but mario has been my past, present and future, he will always be on the top of anything considered a platformer

Ya cos 4 PS2 games, 2 PSP games(one ported to PS2), 2 mobile games, 1 PS3 game, and soon 1 PSN game, a total of 9(soon 10) Ratchet games in 6 years. That's not milking :roll:

No. Ratchet games are fun. I was only saying that milked Mario games are many (over 200), and a lot of them are fun too.So, the more the better.

4 primary games? (3 on ps2 1 on ps3) Can you name a AAA series from 2003 and before with less than 4 total games? DMC, GTA, CoD, MGS, and plenty others are on #4, and no one considers them as milked, even though all besides DMC have spinoffs (CoD:BR1, GTA:Vice City, etc)

If you want to go portable too, then mario definately takes the milking cake.

Galaxy was a great game and is still my favourite game on the Wii, but it's nothing compared to Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World. Those games were just perfect. :)

Also... Ratchet & Clank 2 was what sold me to get a PS2 before a Gamecube. :)

Different tastes for everyone I guess. :) I grew up playing sidescrollers (Commander Keen, Sonic, Mario, Duke Nukem) so they'll always be closest to my video game heart. :D

Ratchet games aren't really platformers, more like third person shooter with platforming elements.

Ratchet because they are more fun to play, and better story, humor. Not that Mario is bad it is a really good game, but not as good as Ratchet.

I love the humor in the Rachet games, so I have to go with rachet.

Mario just seems kinda stale now.
