Re: 8/08 360 and PS3 sales - Looks like Patcher was wrong again

Earlier this week Patcher said that the PS3 would outsell the Xbox 360 for August. The NPD seems to have proved him wrong again.

He also says the 360 will outsell the PS3 this Holiday.

So PS3 wins against the 360 this Holiday.

With this logic how can I be wrong?

Now I could see a lot of people getting the PS3 for the Blu-Ray player. But in terms of parents buying thier kids a gaming console it is obvious that parents will go for the less expensive 360 and Wii.jimmyand360

sony is still in a way better position though because the ps 3,ps2,psp>>>>>360 sales.

it is sad that the rrod is hurting them so much.

i sure the ps 3 still outsold it world wide this mouth.

The period for these NPD results cut off before the price cut.

depends on the kids choice in games, not everyone will go for the 360

I'll say from my memory it was always suggested this was US preorders because of the popularity of the X360 in the US. But even if we say worldwide......there is no way this game would even hit 300k in total sales let alone 1 million presales. I find it hilarious how so many Lems believed that farce......the game selling 1 million before it even released.

the only reason why I'm making such a big deal of this because of the constant denial of Lems for months. It looked like it was going to be a huge flop and they defended that game to the death........well that is until it flopped on gamespot and suddenly everyone knew it was going to be crap, but they always had the "it presold over a million so it will sale better than most PS3 games". Now they don't even have that.

Too Human is indeed X360's Lair (at least IMO)
