The recent news that RE4 will come to the Wii is another indication that most 3rd party devs will only port old games to the Wii. I am appalled by the level of ethusiasm coming from the sheep. I've played RE4 and agree that it's one of the best games of last gen, but a rehash with motion control is ridiculous. If this sells well, which it probably will, the message sheep send to devs is that ports on the Wii is ok and will sell well. Buying this game would be exactly the opposite of encouraging devs to create original and innovate IPs for the Wii.
And Ubisoft is now porting Driver: Parallel Lines to the Wii too. Poor sheep. I think RE4 will be straight up awesome on the Wii, but I'm getting new games. I will certainly make that a mustbuy for my future Wii though.

There is a online shop that has RE4 on the Wii advertised for $29.99. It showed up here earlier today. Either completely fake, an April fools joke, or good for those too lazy to get the GC, PS2 or PC versions.
