Hmm...I'm guessing you haven't heard of Halo: ODST. While it may not be receiving much hype around here. It's still nearly a year away and there isn't much information available on it. Remember, skektek, it has Halo in the title and you can bet your ass that Microsoft is going to hype it to oblivion, perhaps with a marketing campaign that rivals Halo 3's.
I'm going to take a stab in the dark here and also assume that you've forgotten that Microsoft likes to keep most of its major announcements for the current year a secret until that year's E3. Remember when most of the big announcements (NXE, Gears 2 gameplay, the infamous FFXIII megaton, etc) were made this year? That was E3, was it not? How about last year? The year before that, I recall a monumental (at least, for them) reveal of the first teaser trailer for Halo 3. With this evidence mounting against you, it would be foolish to assume Microsoft has shown all of its cards.
And finally, the classic dismissal of multiplatform titles to round things out. I guess I'm an outlier in this land for my opinion that Far Cry 2, a multiplatform title nonetheless is in contention behind Gears of War 2 as the current console graphics king, am I not? Having played the Resident Evil 5 demo on the Xbox 360, I strongly believe it can hang with Killzone 2 as well.
But it doesn't matter any to me. I own all three consoles so no matter what happens next year, I will see all of the benefits.
