Hey, I liked grabbing keys and dodging slow zombies as much as the other person, but the change was needed.

Why did they even bother showing trailers then? it's like holding a carrot in front of a donkey and then yanking it away when it tries to grab it.

They've got a year and a half. They have an engine that runs perfectly and looks great on the Wii. They have a control setup that's perfectly suited to the game. There's a good chance that it will sell the most on the Wii.

Actually if they don't do this I would seriously question their intelligence. Pushing it back this far means they have ample time to make a Wii version. They could even use the old engine from the GC, as long as it's the new game I'm sure people won't care (just look at the sale of the remake....obvouisly Wii players don't care if it's last gen graphics). So yeah, there is no reason not to make a Wii RE5.

Agreed. They'd even have enough time to upgrade the RE4 engine. If they haven't already started development, then Capcom's president needs to get fired and replaced with someone who has common sense.

I was actually hoping that some new 3rd party development houses get brought up on the Wii, kind of like Ubisoft coming from out of nowhere last generation (at least, I dont' remember them in the PS1/N64 days). Just a new, young gun whose really good and overshadows these long-standing companies with their games. Kind of like a "haha, if you'd have acted, maybe you wouldn't be staring at my games stealing all of the GOTY awards from yours".

But that's just a fanboy's wet dream.

Most likely that's only for Cows, you know how they love to wait with their PS3s, plus its so hard to develop for that thing.

Damn! That kinda sucks...but I guess I'll look at it positively in that it will give me time to get a 360.

In the meantime I'll get my RE dose from UC and the GC ones I haven't completed.
