But Resident Evil is no stranger to QTEs, it's been overdone since RE4. At least, in RE6 the dodging mechanics rule out the crappy dodging QTE's you had to do mid battle in RE4 and 5 to avoid a boss coming at you, that's one plus over the previous 2.
...because RE4 wasn't full of obnoxious QTEs... :P

Honestly I think RE4 is one of the few examples of a game that contextualised QTE's really, really well. So did Asura's Wrath - considering half the game is QTEs.
I think people are just hating on this game for the sake of hating on it, I have it and it's a good game actually. Sure it's not my favorite RE and it has some WTF design choices (you cannot pause, seriously) but overall I'm having a good time with it.
It may be more action focused and I can understand why some would find that disappointing, but that doesn't make the game bad. Some QTE are cheap and kill you out of no where, but most of the time they are fine and you don't come across as many as some people would have you believe.

Wrong, Wrong, Wrong.... The last good Resident Evil Game was released this YEAR by the name of Revelations on the 3DS.
With how good Revelations was, how did Capcom **** up Resident Evil so badly? I had hope that after Revelations Capcom was moving Resident Evil to the way it was with Resident Evil 4 but I guess I was wrong.

Only time you can't pause is when you are connected online since someone might be playing with you.

On a serious note I'm surprised how many people forgot RE4 started the whole QTE for RE games and the whole action aspect, yet it gets a free pass from the masses.....yeah logic of those people is pretty much no existent....

this is the same dude that claims ps3 games look better than pc games. the man is a compulsive liar, dont believe anything he says.
He also consciously chooses not to understand what upscaling is, and insists every chance he gets that CoD on 360 and PS3 is rendered in 1080p, because his TV says 1080p.
