reactions to mw2 terrorist level

I'm indifferent toward the game. I think it's pretty neat that you can play from the perspective of a terrorist though.

l'll buy it but i will skip said mission cause i just dont agree with it at all.

If they gave me the option to obliterate...I will obliterate.

yeah cantmiss this game, been looking forward to it for a while and something like this shouldnt stop people from getting the game unless theyve personally been effected by terrorism or something like that.

I am not offended by the content (put what ever you want in it is my opinion). I am offended by what I see as a blatant attempt to stir up our already shaky media to drive up sales ( I am also looking at you GTA). I like how it was "accidentally leaked".;)

the footage i have seen of the level shows literally no repercussions and just mindless violence against civilians and one which was kneecapped and then blown away by the player i found that to be shocking tbh.Especially as they are moving through the security scanner area they just mow them down im sorry but this is just imo stupid idiotic and in this social climate looking for a huge backlash.

You can think oh its just killing a random AI but how do victims of attacks and the families feel about these kinda things?

im sorry but in general terrorism and this really hits a raw nerve with me....especially after what happened here in Scotland not to long ago about a certain Libyan.

If this fake, scripted, scenario offends people and makes them feel bad, then they lack common sense to know the difference between reality and fantasy.

Then, I think you're late, because I believe all or the majority of them have been removed by today. I'm not sure, though. Suppose you're going to have to wait until November 10, which, I suppose, is good for you - for what reason spoil the mission by watching a video with stinking quality? ;)

I take my games a little more seriously than a lot of you that are going "shooting people!! YEAH!!! Look at me i'm a badass maniac gunman" (aka the GTA crowd)

If it is put into context then yes I'd play through it. Otherwise I'd feel too awkward playing that scene. Shooting civilians feels out of place in a CoD game even if it is in the shoes of a terrorist or undercover CIA or whatever it is. Wonder why they thought it was necessary to include this as gameplay.

Some people are seeing this as a way to promote terrorism and war. As I see it the game is a shooter like any other but in the same time it is showing how brutal terrorism can be but also the other part of the game showing how the opposing forces (a.k.a the good guys) are fighting to stop and eliminate these treats, thats my opinion tho but i think this is pretty much was IW was thinking

I could not care less. Its okay to run over civilians in GTA but not ok to shoot civilians? Please if you have problems with a game depicting things that actually happen or could happen then you need to get off this planet now cause heres a little secret...nothing in a game is as bad as what is happening in real life in many places around the world as you write in this forum. You are shocked? appalled? Maybe you should be those things when you hear how many civilians were killed by american bombs in the middle east.
