Agreed, I dont think Halo 3 should be on there, lets face it ... replace it with Bioshock or another honourable mention.

The previews have been great so far, and it looks overall fantastic. It might not get GOTY but I think it will be a solid 9.

If I had to guess I would guess that Mass Effect will get the GOTY here, and BioShock will be my favorite game of the year.

At E3 AC looked so generic and broken. Some hobbled together Prince of Persia type of game with poor physics.... cheap cloned crowds, etc.

I predict it will be a disapointment.

AC: 8.5.

I kinda want Stalker to get Goty. Sure it had noticable glitches but it was very unique.lycrof

Ya sorry that's not happening. It might be unique but that doesn't win you goty. It also has to be technically sound and have great gameplay as a whole.

That's very sad if people now look at anything in the 8 range as a disappiontment

Apparently you don't understand the meaning of "disappointment."
If the game is expected to score a 9 - 9.5 and it scores an 8.5 then, yes, it's a disappointment. ot saying that makes it a "bad game," 8.5 is a good/great game. However, an 8.5 for AC would be a DISAPPOINTMENT (because most expect it to do so well) and certainly not a GOTY candidate.
