wii on the other hand is stealing hype from both but thats a good thing for sony because of this xbox360 cant run away. it will give sony time to pump up the action, reduce ps3 costs sony is saving the action just when the wii hype fades away i mean cooking mammas gets pretty boring after some time.and why promote the ps3 when the cashcow ps2 is still doing well.. the majority of the people are not ready for next-gen this is why ps2 is still selling well in the meanwhile sony is gearing up for when they are by then xbox360 already released alot of their good exclusives and people wont care about these because the only thing you see is ps3 exclusives all over the place... starting 2008 with killzone, final fantasy, gran turismo 5, metal gear solid,and so many new franshises like wardevil, infamous, little big planet, white knight story just to name a few..

I'm confused as to why some people are hyping little big planet and obviously so are PS3 fans since it is 72nd most popular on the PS3 side of Gamespot.
. I'll venture to guess you know hardly anything about FFXIII' story and universe? quote this friend FFXIII will easily outscore Lost odyssey. In every aspect it'll be far superior. FFXIII = ff7 for the ps3. LO vs FFXIII is akin to comparing HAze to halo 3. It's not that haze will suck, just that halo 3 will be superior in every aspect (maybe par story).
in the graphical debate between halo 3 and killzone, killzone is winning. Halo 3 looks awesome, but even in that test wheere they desaturated the colour so it'd be comparable with titles like gears and killzone. Killzone still looked better. and it's in alpha.
Gears looks better than halo 3. With halo it isn't about graphics anyway. halo 2 had better graphics than halo 1, but part 1 was superior. Not as a whole obviously taking into account online, but in terms of SP halo 1 was better.
You contradicted yourself at least twice there, but that is ok. You are saying that FFVIII will be better based on simply your opinion. I'm saying that Lost Odyssey I have seen gameplay and it is looking "intriguing". The Final Fantasy series pissed me off with three lackluster games (X-2, XI, XII). Before you say XII was AAA. It barely made it, and in thinking that real time battles would make fans happy, no, it pissed us off.
And Killzone 2, honestly man, people pissed themselves over Killzone and it washyped garbage in a DVD case.Don't count your chickens before they have hatched. People think that Halo 3 is the second coming because 1 and 2 did not dissapoint. Killzone2 only has one predecessor and it sucked. I own it so don't say I've never played it either.

With FFXIIi anyone who has seen the teaser has seen gameplay from that game. The devs confirmed that it was composed of in engine gameplay and cgi.
Kinda interesting that you omitted FFX from games that "pissed" you off. Just to let you know the FFX are back and are making13. read the wiki's if you have the time.
The producer of FFXII himself admitted in spite of the scores that the story could have been better. Different games end up in different hands; the team that made 12 weren't the same that made all prior iterations in the series. The director of 12 left half way which really unsettled the project. There a lot of things plannedthat were scrapped.
in regard to 13's battle system. in the interviews they basically say that it'll be a very big step up from 12. The X team want to bring certain elements from X's gameplay. In 12 all the characters excelled at the same things. in 13 this won't be the case it'll revert back to specialization. there's a LOT of info about 13. i know more about that game than LO.
before you say "oooh that's just cause you like ff more". i actually was hoping mistwalker would whip up a ff-killer, cause i was slightly dissapointed with 12 myself. Reading a review for blue dragon and previews for Lost odyssey put me even more off. The more videos i saw of LO the more tacky and uninspired it looked. Lastly i thinkanother reason why i dislike both of those games is cause they're sitting beside an rpg that looks MILES more impressive and next gen; mass effect.
i'm not even gonna bother with killzone cause the excuse of "oooh the firstone sucked" is justkinda sad...reallysad
