I want reasons for and against each console.

I'm talking about games as well as specifications.

I have one for PS3 to start you guys off: Zurg on Toy Story 3.

At this point I won't switch bought too many games for PS3 and there is no exclusives on the Xbox 360 I want to play. Though if i was going to buy one now it would be an xbox 360 live is working PSN doesn't :?

I stick to the 360 primarily because it has a better controller, better online service that actually works (jk :P) and the majority of multiplats have either looked or performed marginally better on the 360.

I like how people pretend that XBL has never been down before321orez

It's never been 100% down for this long. It's had some issues for a couple weeks at a time sometimes, but never been completely down for more than like a day or two (because of maintenance)

Well, what do you expect Sony to do when receiving ongoing threats of more attacks on PSN? This is the only thing that can be done, at least that's what Sony thinks. Users either deal with instability or wait for the rebuilt PSN to go online. Keep in mind that Sony loses money the longer that PSN is down, so it's in its best interest to get it back up as fast as possible.

PS3- If you want to be a kind person to share all your personal information with the world and not be tied down by the evils of online gaming. 360-If you want to be stingy and keep all that personal information to yourself while wasting hours on online gaming.

If I had to pay $60 for something I could get free else where, I'd probably like to think it hasn't been down before and it's hack proof too. :P

I have both and they both serve me the same exact purposes a console should.... I dont understand why people say ones better than the other.. Besides for blu-ray?

Frugality, that's the best reason to stay on the Xbox 360, and just buy a PS3 if you want one and keep your Xbox 360. I have both and I like being able to dabble in everything. Selling your Xbox 360 and all your games to play a few PS3 exclusives, that's just throwing your money away. Someone who does this doesn't deserve to use the free PSN excuse. I'd of course understanding something like all friends having PS3s and not gaming on Xbox 360 because no friends use it, that's about the only excuse that'd make sense.
