Looks great! Using the same band that helped made the soundtrack from the Witcher 3, Percival
I don't really buy into the marketing of "made by the makers of _" as there are just way too many ways to stretch what is perhaps a very loose connection into something that looks more significant.
Anyway, I like vampires, enjoy vampire games. Though with a name Rebel Wolves I was kind of hoping for werewolves. Maybe that's coming later? Maybe the dude turns into a werewolf to fight the vampires after his sister or daughter turns into a vampire or something?
Anyway, not coming to any conclusions. Seeing a trailer for Cyberpunk 10 years before the release of the game that highlighted a feature of the game (Max Tac police force) that was not really a thing in the game taught me that 😋
*lol just realized the dev is rebel wolves, not the game (game is called Blood of Dawnwalker), so no werewolves probably.
Nice concept and at least holds some pedigree (from the creators of a beloved game even if I personally wasn't a fan), yet gives little to get excited for from a gameplay perspective.
Many great games have been revealed with a glorified cutscene, so not going to write it off just yet.
The story and world seem cool, I just need the combat/character movement to be good. I hope that part isn't like Witcher 3.
I'll say what I said in the other thread. The connection with secondary CP2077 director makes me hyped by itself. Plus, I'm a big vampire nerd. Drinking blood is my MO.
Probably day one.
@mrbojangles25: My experience has not been positive with the "made by the makers of" games. It is kind of gimmicky and ignores the significance of the team composition.
Yup, goes all the way back to Daikatana and "from John Romero, maker of Quake" to the fairly recent "From the makers of Dead Space" Dead Space clone I can't recall the name of.
RIP Ion Storm
@mrbojangles25: The legendary and mostly forgotten Daikatana.😂
Yeah, I really dated myself with that reference

I have a colleague who routinely talks about being friends with Romero. I have to kindly remind him, no-one cares or knows the guy for he is mostly forgotten and is no longer relevant. That doesn't stop him though.😂
The Witcher 4, The Witcher Remake, Elder Scrolls 6, The Blood of Dawnwalker, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, Atomfall, Crimson Desert, Mafia The Old Country, and Ghost of Yotei. Not bad for a year or two stretch of open world games coming soon. Hell, there are more than that including a couple/few mmos ro boot I'm didn't even mention.
