Red Dead Redemption 4K gameplay

So an Xbox One X can run this game in 4K, but PC's can't run this game ?

Also, the Pee Salty Seas can't run the game at even 480I since ya know, there isn't even a RDR version made for Pee Salty Seas. lol :P

Hopefully GTA5 is next for the 4K patch that would be great. Wasn't expecting RDR to get the upgrade

PC gamer who are frustrated they don’t get to enjoy RDR can play it through PS Now.

It probably looks as good as a game released for consoles in 2010 with upgraded resolution can look.

But it still looks like an old Bethesda game or something. I wouldn't call it stunning. More like an old ugly game with high resolution.

RDR code was mess. as a result it never released on PC. as GTA4 PC port flop

after that rockstar made different engine of RAGE version for Max payne 3 which feel like PC game. then same engine use in GTA5 which run fine and success on PC.

so RDR2 will happen on PC. plus it was different era. nowadays third party exclusive donot exist at all.

Yet when Enhanced and played on Mighty X1X and compared to anything on a system just launched last year; it blows'em all away. lol

Well, I'll give you it's not quite fair since that "N" system just launched is a Handheld but since you and other gullible McFly's insist it's a console and want to play with the big dogs, eh, them the breaks. :P

OK. That's great for people who cares. As a PC gamer myself, such tiny upgrades go by me mostly unnoticed. And calling this one "stunning" almost made me laugh after watching the video.

I'd be salty if I wanted to play the game, but couldn't. That's not the case.

Some of these enhanced games look really good. Hard to beat Microsoft, this gen, when it comes to backwards compatibility.

The devs put less time and less effort into the PC version, releasing it much later. Of course console sales will be higher if you cater to console gamers.

I gotta agree with that: Max Payne 3 was an excellent PC version.

It's one of the best optimized, bestest PC versions ever made.

Which makes me wonder: what happened to all the knowledge ? Why don't they use that for GTA V and RDR 2 to launch a PC version along side consoles ?

I wouldn't call it stunning myself, but look at this comparison. It's obvious it's a massive upgrade to play it in 4K compared to playing the original Xbox 360 version:

I'm getting worried that either my eyes are going bad, or some of you are crazy. I honestly can't tell much of a difference except when they super zoom in. Surely my eyes are broken, right?

This 4K nosense will make games look the same next-generation when 4K resolution will be the standard resolution if you get what i mean.

I would prefer if we could stay at 1080p for a little longer and advance INGAME graphics ALOT at 60fps at all times. True revolution. PS4 PRO and X1X and 4K that is not true 4K and 30fps and this and that... BS.

So PS5 will be true 4K and if developers push graphics on next level... 30fps here we go again and not true 4K .... I can see where this will go. 4K trend not letting games really involve graphically even if its impressive to see this kind of clarity.

What an awful color palette. This games requires a sweetFx mod desperately, something that would give the game more saturation.

Blame youtube, game looks pretty damn crisp from my 65" screen and I've tried the unpatched version too, huge difference.

Depends on what your definition of massive is. I can clearly see the higher resolution, but that doesn't do very much to make the game look much better. To me, that is. But I'm used to PC gaming. A nice little upgrade, but "stunning" and "massive difference" sounds ridiculous to me and just a way to gather some clicks.

I literally bought an one x to play rdr2. I imagine the delay was to take full advantage of the console. This will do till then

It may not be at launch but I fully expect it to be optimised at some point.
