Never played it. As for FPS titles with good stories though Half Life 1,2, EP2, System Shock 2 (never played pt 1), BioShock, Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood have good stories for FPS titles.

I appreciate the premise, but the execution cannot be considered 'great' in the wake of story-driven first-person shooters like Bioshock, Half-Life 2, and Portal.
For me, the story mode is great, but the story line isn't. It is very apparent that the creators of the game didn't put as much thought into the story as they did in other elements of the game, like the action or the demolition of structures.
