Doubt it actually, every object in the world has it's own unique internal structure, so that's a hell of a lot of info right there. But there have already been more powerful/bigger games on 360 then Red Faction.

This has been posted over and over again.
We all argued this months ago, but it's time to stop...
Don't ya think?
no there haven't actually, red faction's physics engine takes up four gigabytes, leaving only 5 for everything else on the 360. the map is giant, and could probably take about 1, the weapons could take another .5, the vehicles could ammount for at least one, characters are probably 1.5 at the very least, and then the rest can easily be accounted for in textures and materials. But there have already been more powerful/bigger games on 360 then Red Faction.

with every new "maxed out" topic created, i believe it less and less. its like they say it only to make audiences believe that they are awesome with working with that particular hardware.
dont feed the troll hes a huge cow and every post he makes bashed the 360 in some way or form

Agreed!!! I have nothing against the 360 or PS3. I play them both but the attempts after E3 against the 360 are really pathetic and sad. If anything all these topics just show that Sony-Fanboys are running scared searching the net for ways to bash the 360 to make themsleves feel better. Very sad moment for cows.
you mean RFG is maxed out on 360. Not 360 maxed out. there's a huge difference. I know this is system wars but come on no need for complete ignorance.zero9167it usually takes a game to max it out......

Isn't this like the 12th thread you've made against the 360? Fanboy much or is this just phase?

Doubt it actually, every object in the world has it's own unique internal structure, so that's a hell of a lot of info right there. Add in a physics system that allows actual weight to EVERY object that holds that structure up and you have a taxing game.[QUOTE="Supa__Mario"]

just making a point about the scale of games in 360....ppl were arguing mag could be done on 360....So you need a new thread everytime? And no Mag couldn't be done on the 360 because its a Sony owned IP, however Huxely looks to be alot more appealing than something that pretty much makes me think of Counter Strike with alot more people in a match. M.A.G. doesn't look to be that impressive to me and I think the gameplay won't hold up too well after its released and you actually have 256 people in a match, all with their own idea what they want to do. Seems like a big cluster *#$( to me.
At least make a thread with something more than a single line and post. Also multiple threads don't make you right, you just come off as a raving fanboy who doesn't know what he's talking about.
the x360 was maxed with oblivion... this is getting old...Franko_3Dont you know, it was maxed out with Gun and Tony Hawk AW.

Every community has black lists..The 360 has them too..So get over it and start facing the bitter facts with some other arguments other than "Youre a fanboy because youre making alot of X / Y hate threads"[QUOTE="Franko_3"]the x360 was maxed with oblivion... this is getting old...PS3_3DO
O'really? Have you not seen Alan Wake, Forza 3, Splinter Cell. :|
I think...that's his point...EDIT: Damn, What's with all the 360 hate as of late? *thinks of E3* oh, nvm!

There will always be a bigger and better engine that looks better and it programed better.

I admit i know little about this latest Red Faction. I think i heard its set in a persistent world, in that case if a structure is destroyed or damaged i assume the game keeps that structure destroyed in the fashion you left it! Its GTA stye free roaming is that correct? But there have already been more powerful/bigger games on 360 then Red Faction.

if they are talking of memory, then the ps3 was maxed out before it... its got less ram to work with.[QUOTE="Supa__Mario"][QUOTE="zero9167"]You missed the point. It did actually, they were talking about having even more problems and having to hire sony for help, because there is less ram to work with on the ps3, OS makes a bigger footprint.
If you guys care so much about graphics then start upgrading your PC's its hardware improves monthly, if todays games dont look good enough for you, as for consoles, they are both pretty close to being maxed and taxed, come on now you got a 7800GTX and 2600XT with a 128 bit memory bandwith with some 512mb of shared memory or unshared, its amazing games look this good and what the developers have been able to do this far with this tech, if you think there is a lot more horsepower to squeeze out of this 2005 hardware then your lying to yourself, what you see now will only get a little better and thats it for consoles, which is not too bad, but some of you here are expecting the devs to pull a rabbit out of a hat, get over it.
you typical console screw up. put all the money into the cpu/gpu then the leftovers go into the ram. a single core pentium 4 with 1gb ram would have been far better."Yeah, we've got it to the point where we can't even put an extra vehicle into a world, because it'll blow the memory."

I wouldn't be surprised if it was maxed out. This game has a long draw-distance with extreme physics, which takes alot of processing power. And the game has a really good framerate too.
i noticed that, for a sandbox game the framerate is really solid, i played the game for 12 hours and didn't experience a single dropI wouldn't be surprised if it was maxed out. just making a point about the scale of games in 360....ppl were arguing mag could be done on 360.... The ENGINE used is maxed out on the 360. A different engine would yield better results. This is what they mean. MAG isn't impressive. PC's have had games larger then that for my entire life. The Xbox could do it just as well, if not better like ever other multiplatform game. Please Log In to post.
