Ill probably start playing again once this patch comes out.

This is one game I've had an eye on for a while. I'm one of those guys who never got tired of WW2 shooters :D

So they finally realized server side hit detection drove a lot of players away from the series, due to the "bullet delay" that made the game unplayable with a ping higher than 50. Better late than never.

Nothing will revive that game. It's dead. Maps are bad, gameplay is flawed (assault rifles everywhere), lacks the feeling of chaos that the first one had, and the gun mechanics are to arcadey. Rifles are supposed to be heavy, yet in RO2 they are light as a feather.

I would destory with a rifle. I never had a problem with the hit detection.

Everybody whines about BF3's client side, now people are whining about server side. GAme developers can't win.

Perfect. I passed on this game two times during STEAM sales due to funds. Now I feel smart for being broke (if thats possible). I will buy this specioal edition.
