TC, could you please explain to me how someone at X10(a Microsoft event) was able to determine that the 360 version looked more crisp when it was OBVIOUSLY THE ONLY VERSION OF THE GAME RUNNING at a MICROSOFT ONLY event?????????????????
OBVIOUSLY there was no PS3 version of XIII on display to directly compare with at X10:roll:
On the other hand, on the FFXIII bus in SF, many gamers along with IGN who got to see both versions running side by side on the exact same HDTV's said the PS3 version clearly looked better:o Woops.
And jpeg is now to blame??? Uh did you know that BOTH the PS3 and 360 comparrison shots are JPEG and suffer from the EXACT same compression???
Nice try man, but no cigar, not even a whiff of tobacco for you.
And to ruin your party even more, here's a shot with pixel analysis proving that the game runs at 576P(which is SD resolution in Europe btw) by "MazingerDUDE, who performs tasks for well respected analysis website Digital Foundry". - So don't bother screaming "fake".
On a positive note, we now have an SD version of XIII, so congrats Wii owners! You are now much closer to the chance of getting XIII on the Wii:twisted:

An analysis like that would obviously be affected by what I described....that's strikingly obvious. Do you even understand what he's doing there to get the resolution? lol. Again, stop talking about things you absolutely don't understand. But thanks for posting the screenshot-- it gives an example of something I was talking about (can't post pics). See that thin black bar on the left edge of the screenshot? Again, example of haste. As far as more crisp comment, that's something IGN said. I could probably did up the quote. Something funny though- I'm rather sure I recall another author of IGN saying the opposite. Something tells me there's no difference. Here's a couple direct comparrison screens(no mouse pointers or black borders) of both PS3 and 360. a FAIR comparrison to be sure.

It's from the same batch and it does have a black border.... Lordy lord. You know. I really don't understand. Seeing as how there's so many things wrong with the latest pics, and sources, overall, conclude by the SE event that the versions look indiscernible, why I people cling invalid info? Jees... I think people have trouble assessing things. I posted a thread with a completely BS link talking about the N-Gage 2. No one's is catching on yet.Id like to make a clarification for the tc. The gamespot preview which claims that the 360 version looks better took place at an SE event NOT at X10....please change the op...wolverine4262Yup, thanks to you I looked it up and it happened in London. Which brings to question more than ever what the hell were GS looking at?

Im planning on canceling my 360 pre-order now and just waiting for some proper reviews...These pics DO seem to lack proper quality though...

So...FF13 still sub HD?
So much angry lemming tears.
Creating a level one account just to ban dodge really shows how confident you are with your own words, which is zero.
I don't have an account here. I use to, but don't anymore. So this is how you guys respond though. You're obviously oblivious to everything here though. Claiming .jpg can't suffer from varying levels of compression. Completely ignoring evidence such as the mouse pointer, the obviousness that it's a low quality pic overall, and most comical--> posting a pic with the bad cropping black border and claiming it to be one without. How can someone like you spot differences in such small details in general fi you can't catch that?[QUOTE="mztazmz"]An analysis like that would obviously be affected by what I described....that's strikingly obvious. ImageChef
key words "WELL RESPECTED"
Did you know that this is the SAME method they used to determine that Halo 3 was 640P? And that Bungie freely ADMITTED that Halo 3 does in fact run at 640P???
In other words, this method of determing native resolution has been PROVEN to be accurate.
So we are to believe YOU over Digital Foundry and BUNGIE???? WOW!
You're done dude. And you should maybe never post this sentence again , ever:"stop talking about things you absolutely don't understand" LOL, whatever:roll:
