Ok. I just picked it up. It is much lighter than my PS3 slim.

I would play my wii more but I get dead pixels all over the screen when i play, it drives me absolutely nuts. I got a launch system, and i don't have a warranty anymore, and Imo its not worth buying another one

once sales and data roll in for holiday 2009, nintendo will be at the top. this is not a difficult predction :P

I agree the Wii is not a fad but they might have exhausted their "gamer" market and would casuals who already have wii fit really want to go out and get wii fit plus? do they even know the difference between the two?

Xbox 360arcade package is cheaper than wii in my country. Also, wii controllers cost more. $100(aud) $30 for nunchuck and $70 for wii mote because you cant play a lot of games without the nunchuck.

You get 1 free repair from Nintendo after you warrentlys up. Well at least I did, and that what I was told. My Wii would only play on an HDTV and not a SDTV for some reason. They gave me a UPS code and all I had to do was play the shipping.

And I only got the green dead pixels when I was playing on a HDTV and had the composite cables hooked in and there wasn't enough polys on the screen to upscale. If I had a lot of things going on it wasn't a problem, but since 99% of wii games are low poly and low budget...

While I think you're being a bit rediculous about the matter, I've also realized that this is perhaps the Wiimote's biggest flaw. About attaching it to the Wii with a chord though, just think about this for a moment:

Chord + motion controls = ? :D The number of Wiis destroyed would make the number of TV lives the Wiimote has claimed seem insignificant.

(I guess they could also just give you the option of a rediculously long chord, but that's far from ideal as well.)

TBH i think they arent gonna seel TOOO much,2008 and 2009 were pretty damn terrible for WIi (apart from Q1 in 08..and..well..a 1or maybe 2 good game in each Quarter in 09) and the new SKU and pricecut for PS3 will make it more painful.250>200 aint muchRatchet_Fan8

you're joking, right? 2008 was definently nintendo's year(both console and handhelds). and now that the difference between the ps3 and the wii is 100euros now. thats alot.
