Do you guys think that the possiblity of PS3/360 remastered games for next generation consoles would be just as popular as they are today?

Would any of you consider buying games like Uncharted 1-3 or Gears 1-3 if they were remastered with better textures and 1080p/60fps?

Probably not. I am more interested in getting the first three Resident Evil games and the Silent Hill games. There are a bunch of dreamcast games too I would want.

I think it's just too close and not enough improvement from this gen to next.

There was too much of a focus on multiplayer this generation for Remastered collections to do as well next gen as they have in the past two years. If that focus on multiplayer continues through the next generation then who would want to play Uncharted 2 or Black Ops online when they can play brand new games with significantly improved multiplayer portions?

About sums it up. Personally, I'm not for collections as it is, only in cases where the games have become extremely difficult to acquire. And even then, it'd be far cheaper to get direct ports as downloadable titles instead.

Uncharted 2 has a very memorable single-player mode, I'm sure people would love to experience it again in the future.

Ok, maybe Uncharted was a poor example to use in that. But you still get the ponit. The amount of singleplayer content worth rereleasing next generation is significanly smaller than what was out last gen.

Sure, so long as there's an appropriate amount of time between releases. Probably less from this gen though. I mean, who's gonna buy a rereleased version of a Call of Duty game? Thats like rereleasing a Madden? It's pretty pointless. And alot of games from this console generation are kind of like that.
