@quadknight: I'm at a loss as far as those hyping graphics go. I don't believe I have ever in 9+ years posting done that. Games were at a point last gen where characters and environments looked real enough to differentiate things well enough. I never considered resolution alone equaling graphics anyway.

The hype to me for this game is based completely on Remedy making great third person shooters and attempting something different in the inclusion and effect of game play on the live action following of the antagonist side of the story.

Lems excuse use to be that only lazy third party games ran at 720p on X1. Now a game published, funded and owned by M$ only runs at 720p/30fps. What is the excuse for that weak ass system now xbots?

Same, people seem to forget that just two years ago the reality for games was even less than 720p for a lot of titles, yet it's unacceptable for games that look multiple times better with far more advanced technology at work.

The Xbox One is about 5.2 times more powerful than an Xbox 360, that is a lot but you have to look at what is going on in this game, the amount of post in play, the effects, the texture mapping methods etc. This game looks like it's 4-5 times better than anything you could get on an Xbox 360 so it's completely understandable where it sits.

Yeah and what is you people logic.? The game is not 720p because of some mystical power inside the xbox one that upscale anything everything without affecting its native resolution.

The xbox one hardware is weak and this is why this game is 720p,don't feel bad it would probably be 800p or 900p on PS4 as well just not 720p.

No, it doesn't. I actually own the game and it just doesn't. No bullshots will convince me of the opposite as I trust myself and trust in my eyes. Uncharted 3 is decently looking and colorful, but if you look up close, the textures are quite bland the game shows its age. It's not coming any near to the new Tomb Raider, not even the first one. Comparing it to QB is just laughable. Any person who owns and played Uncharted Remastered knows that.

QB in game doesn't look even near to those cut scenes man,then environments look bland and indoors look shallow as well aside from the effects textures talking is not doing much.

There's only a couple of very short sections where Drake seemed to walk slow and they're both at Yemen ( when he was totally stoned and at the open desert). You want slow, try Alan Wake.

Fair enough, then apply it to the lems that did so champion the graphics. I know I never did as graphics at this point are the least of my concerns in the games I buy and play. I also don't see resolution as the entirety of graphics. If that were the case why would anyone not be trying to play on PC at 4K?

1080p is fine for me as of now. I don't need anything higher. But 720p is falling a little short of the bar.

Hell I can even tolerate 900p since most games still have a lot of graphic fidelity.

I've played games as recent as this year in SD and loved playing them. It just doesn't effect my enjoyment of games.
