Forza 5 is obviously a very violent game, and Dead Rising 3, a game where you slaughter thousands of zombies, is definitely more tame than Killzone.

I'd really like to play Super Mario 3D World. I just love the homage to Super Mario Bros. 2 (one of my favorite Mario games).

Anyone got Wii U they can lend?

That metacritic pic says it all. The failing systems house the more traditional, gamey games and new interesting ideas (Tearaway, 3D World), while I'm sitting here trying to find a reason to grab a PS4. The contrast between my taste and mainstream gaming is ridiculous. Did I hear mentions of UC4, really? The fifth identical game with bland gameplay in the span of ~7 years is supposed to counter games like these? Damn, what has happend to gamers.

A great game no doubt, I'm just so fatigued on Mario that I'm a bit apathetic so in turn this gives me no incentive to buy a Wii U. Now if the new Zelda arrives to such praise I'll reconsider, but then again, SS drew similar accolades and was sub-par.

I suspect many of these reviews are so high scoring because such games only arrive once-twice a gen. Desperation satiated usually produces overly-effusive enthusiasm and praise.

But maybe it is that good. If so, I'll have to grab it when the Wii U holds value to me with a little more variety in its catalog.
