[QUOTE="Newnab"][QUOTE="Newnab"]The Epic story is known about somewhat. Humans new to the inter galactic stage, a terrible galactic event that only happens once every few thousand years is due to happen, an elite agent has gone rogue and now wants to kill all humans, it's up to you to help Humans find their place in the galaxy and save it along the way. Plus the only review so far said the story was awesome.
Plus there's already a book out based on the Mass Effect story.
And yes it has GOTY potential. Bioware have made many great games, including, yes, KOTOR. Star Wars franchise or not it was awesome. Reviewers have played it, there have been some very recent hands on, and a review is out already. The game has gone gold.
The first level is known about in pretty much it's entirity, if you can define "levels". The character customization, initial contacts and conversations and subsequent combat and objectives are all known about. You meet a couple of your crew, go talk to the Captain, you recieve a transmission of some guys getting owned while trying to secure a "beacon" that they believe is of great significance for enhancing human technology, but something has gone horribly wrong, you go down to sort things out, you meet some new people on the way like Ashley Williams, fight some robot people, some zombie guys, punch a crazy doctor in the face. The sort of awesomeness people can expect.
Assassin's Creed has had hardly any coverage since it's shoddy E3 demo, Uncharted... The Gears of War lookalike video on On the Spot is all we've seen in recent months, and Rachet has had about the same coverage as ME.
Please. Sit down. You're making yourself look foolish.

Quoting myself because you seem to have missed this post, Wii4hire...
Uh. Uncharted has about 6 videos from naughty dog, and thats just this month. Same with Assasins Creed.
So all im hearing is because of Biowares previous success, Mass Effect will only be better or equal to the previous games.
Um. No. Mass Effect has a tonne of trailers over the last couple months, many people have linked to them for you, but you ignored them. Assassin's Creed has had... 2? Official trailers this year.
And all you're hearing, is all you want to hear. Which is... Totally ignoring everything I said!
Here, I'll summarize my points for you:
You're wrong, we know lots about the story. More than we know about most stories before games come out.
You're wrong, lots of people have played it, many in final build, and there's plenty of coverage
You're wrong, Bioware make tonnes of great games, not just "Some Star Wars franchise"
You're wrong, we know about the first level(s) and sidequests in massive depth
You're wrong, Assassin's Creed, Uncharted and Rachet are not getting more coverage.
You're wrong, you're wrong, you're wrong, and above all... You're silly.
