Remake is better than original RE4.
better shooting, better controlling, even better story (which is subjective), more PC friendly and can be play with KB/M unlike original, no more tank control and stop while shoot.
Hard disagree.
The original had the benefit of being conceptualized and executed within its own parameters. Everything in that game is perfectly considered, balanced, and executed flawlessly to compliment everything else. The interplay of game systems, pacing, enemy and encounter design, weapon balance, resource allocation, all of it. If you take a real close examination of it, it’s remarkable how well executed and considered it is. I can barely see fault with it, and yes, that includes your favorite part: no movement when shooting. As great as the remake is, it takes liberties to the formula, and some of its design extrapolations are detrimental to the overall experience because they were not conceived and integrated at inception. They were overlayed and imposed on top of it. Pacing, for one example, suffers, given the inclusion of superfluous side quests, which water down and slow the impeccable flow of the original.
It’s in no way a bad game and there are improvements, but taken as a whole, the r4make is, IMO, the inferior version.
