Resident Evil movie reboot in the works, to be closer to the games

Nice, I never got into the old Resident Evil movies, because they didn’t seem at all related to the games lol. How about you, SW? You excited for this reboot? Did you like the other movies?

Reboot story to the original? Like how some bumpkin town in heart of flyover country has a sophisticated anti-bioterrorism special forces unit? And they still brought only pistols on their mission, no extra ammo or PPE, and had their squad wiped by a pack of dogs?

Just watch the CGI movies.

Cool. I didn’t mind the other movies. They were bit of a guilty pleasure kind of movies for me. I’ll check it out.

Like Cup said, just watch the CGI movies. Better than the live action even though far from perfect.

I want more first-person movies, like whats-it-called. I think RE would be good like this, or maybe as a third person (maybe use some new drone tech to film it over-the-shoulder)

*Hardcore Henry. Seriously just give us a Doom movie done like Hardcore Henry. Yes it was a bit gimmicky but holy hell it was fun, and well made imo. Also Sharlto Copley is great in it.

I would, but they're like.. even worse.

At least with the Jovovich movies you can laugh at how terrible they are.
