I actually thought the game was great.
The game was Designed for the 3DS not really Consoles. However the game itself is great and what a lot of us old School RE players want so the person reviewing just downright hates RE and all it stands for w/o forgiveness. I'll give the person credit though..... the enemies are kind of uninteresting... Aside from the Hunters, the last boss and the dudes with the shields.
"Not scary "
Since when was Resident Evil a scary game? Survival horror is rarely scary at all. It is more about the environment, the tension, the management, the sounds.
The game is good (played it on 3DS). I want to get the PC version but I couldn't. The demo wouldn't let me play at Quad HD and 120fps. It would only go to 60fps and 1920 x 1080.
Anyone with the PC version know if they fixed that?
I'm trying to figure that out as well, it wouldn't let me do 2560x1440 in the demo, only up to 1920x1440."Not scary "

Lack the scares of the earlier games? Were they really that scary? RE3 sure as hell wasn't, tense yes, scary no. REmake didn't seem that much scary either, through it had great atmosphere, like Revelations. Well anyway enjoyed the 3DS version a lot, and I plan to get the PC version sometime down the road.
My god man...how much did your setup cost? You had to of dropped at least 3k on that.. My question is why? Is multi-monitor that impressive? I think it would be annoying having monitor edges separating the screens. Of course If I was a millionaire I would do it too, just with large 70" displays. I could never justfiy spending for a setup like you have (have a family and a house that I have to spend loot on)."Not scary "

Another overrated game from sheep. Zero atmosphere, terrible character/enemy designs, poor gunplay, non existent puzzles, etc. RE returning to form my ass....MFDOOM1983thats what I thought too when I got the game for 3ds in December. All these sheep here were praising this game like it was a return to form. It wasn't in anyway shape or form. Especially when you are in the caves... it felt like a series of kill rooms with dogs... not a old school re game.

I don't remember. Lost count. It's not like I bought everything all at once. Chips here and chips there.
I am going to spend 1k in 2 days though on a super quiet but high performance water cooling system I'm building. XD
And Eyefinity is amazing. Just make sure you get a good display panel. You won't notice the bezels when you are gaming though.
The game looks like a super low budget RE. All zones looks the same, fugly graphics in general, same boring enemies everywhere, laughable lips syncing, Chris. I thought the game looked good in the first trailer when it was unveiled but now it looks worst than dead space 3.
Resident Evil 4 wasn't scary except for a very few select parts, but it was still the best in the series. I agree that there's too much backtracking though.tagyhag
RE4 wasn't scary at all, now the crimson heads in RE remake were hella scary when you didn't know that zombies can comeback as crimson heads.
I played the demo on Steam, and the demo is like you kill a dozen of the same enemy, then you get an item, and then go back to where you started.
There just wasn't enough to the demo to make me ever consider spending anywhere near close to the $50 they're charging, so I'll have to wait for it to get much cheaper if I'm to ever buy it.

If a game is trying to be scary, then it should at least be good at it.Â
I dont care what anyone says this is my favorite resident evil game i loved the 3ds version and im loving the ps3 version.
Isn't this supposed to be a straight port of the 3DS version? Why the lower score?
OK, OK, two different people. Still that doesn't help answer the question on if this is a good port or not; whether the game is good or not is all subjective and up to the individual player at the helm.

thats the only reason for the different score.Â

kevin would have given it a solid 3.. then again, his opinion is highly insignificant

Sore over Resident Evil 6?
what a fat man says about a video game doesn't make me cringe like you.Thank you. That's so sweet of you to say.

My thoughts exactly.
Well...uh....you....duh...I mean we can't....um....
....yeah....day by day it's getting a little bit tougher to try and defend Carolynn. All I've got is it's her opinion....to which she makes it the entire websites opinion on the game.

'Controversial' would imply that there isn't a general consensus that they suck.
You realize controversy can come from feedback, right?[QUOTE="nintendoboy16"]Carolyn is replacing McShea with controversial reviews these days.Gxgear

McShea can atleast back up his shit. With Carolyn it seems like she takes any minor gripe and slaps a low score on it[QUOTE="Gxgear"][QUOTE="nintendoboy16"]Carolyn is replacing McShea with controversial reviews these days.nintendoboy16
